This place is wonderful. They have great displays and will have productions to attend.
Because this is Minnesota, don’t you know. Their solstice and Christmas events are great. For some real Scandinavian food, eat at the FIKA cafe.
The American Swedish Institute offers a look at and demonstrates the importance of the surrounding region's Swedish heritage. The institute consists of the modern Nelson Cultural Center and the historic Turnblad Mansion.
If you're curious about the Swedish heritage that is such a big part of Minnesota culture, ASI is the place to go. Beautiful design everywhere, a gorgeous mansion, interesting rotating exhibits, and a marvelous restaurant to boot.

“Looking to eat and drink? It’s hard to go wrong with Eastlake. That’s because when it comes to food, Eastlake has a serious advantage. The brewery’s location in the corner of the awesome Midtown Global Market means you can wander through the most diverse indoor food court in the cities before walking in for a beer. Anything from sushi, pizza, gyros, pad thai, burgers, or vegan options can be ordered to-go and brought right into the brewery.”
