For lunch, we’ll eat authentic dishes cooked in a wood stove and then play a game of Tejo before we head back to Bogotá. We'll meet at the "sweetest market on earth" Paloquemao Market. From there we'll start tasting different fruits, all while tracing their indigenous and colonial origins. Depending on which fruits are in season, we will taste around 25 different varieties. In addition, we will walk the market’s venues which includes the outdoor floral area. Finally, there will be a fruit juice tasting that goes along with a traditional snack, the arepa. The ideal geographic position that Colombia occupies due to its proximity to the equator and with the Andes stretching across the country, creates the perfect conditions for fruits to develop unique flavors.

In this oportunity we do our own Coffee Farm Experience.We gonna take you to the montains behind bogota to the really local town of choachi. From there we'll drive a few minutes more untill we get to our organic coffee farm, there we'll meet local farmers and with them we have a traditional colombian breackfast, also we'll talk about what it means to be an organic coffee farm and the daily tasks of a farmer. Latter we take our cocos for pick coffee, we get inside the plantation and we learn about the coffee in a organic farm. We'll walk around the farm and take in the more than 8,000 coffee plants, we'll learn how to hand-pick coffee and process it; also depending of the season may we cant collect coffee but we will rousted coffe them in a really native and artisanal way. We go under the local fruits trees, the idea is to feel the coffee culture pretty close and discover the colombian coffee world. We'll process the coffee and end drinking more coffee in a diferent way of preparation, we go to te town just for eat the best traditional lunch and in the way back to the city, making brief stops to take pictures of the Paramos ecosystems and the picturesque Bogotá city skyline. Inclusions: Breakfast, lunch, private transportation, coffee teasting, coffee bag to take home and a professional tour guide. Soak in a magical hot spring oasis that transports you to the feeling of being in the Amazon, but only 1.5 hours from Bogotá. You’ll get to spend the day soaking in natural hot springs, take fabulous photos, explore the tropical fauna, lily pond, and disconnect from everything. The experience includes exclusive access to a property not open to the public, round trip transportation (bus used when less than 4 people w/option for private), towels, a fruit platter with coffee, lunch, and a welcome drink. We’ll meet in Bogotá at 8 am and then arrive at the property at 9:45 am to have a coffee and you’ll be given a tour of the beautiful grounds. Nos pondremos una cita, en un cómodo chalét con Pérgola donde podremos disfrutar de su jardín mientras preparamos la paella al aire libre. Realizaremos paso por paso la paella, donde explicaré trucos y consejos para obtener una deliciosa combinación. Tomaremos un aperitivo y tapas (vino, sangría o refrescos) mientras la cocinamos y recomendaré lugares de interés turístico, actividades y excursiones imprescindibles en los alrededores de Vía a la Calera. Otros aspectos destacables Si necesitas más información para llegar, puedo enviar plano. En nuestra experiencia disfrutaremos un jugo refrescante y un snack saludable, y hablaremos de la experiencia. Veremos todo esto caminando o corriendo solo unos tres kilómetros. Este sendero es fácil y divertido para principiantes. Cuando regresemos, cerraremos nuestra experiencia con algo de comida local y un café especial. Al final de la parte gastronómica, se inciará una sesión de spa en un Jacuzzi mirando las montañas de la Calera con una copa de vino. Para terminar con un cierre de lujo.

Welcome to my Colombian cooking class! During this experience, you will immerse yourself in a typical Colombian food meal in an informal environment, where you will be able to learn all the tips and tricks to make the most delicious buñuelos, arepas, almojábanas, pan de yucas, and much more! You will discover the secrets of my dad (who was a baker) and how we eat these delicious plates in Bogotá. I will welcome you, and you will wear one of the multiple aprons I have been collecting. I will guide you through the whole process of making these delicious, savoury and sweet dishes! Of course, the menu can change depending on dietary restrictions and guests' preferences. We will cook and bake together using fresh, local ingredients, and we will have a cup of hot chocolate or a cup of canelazo (a typical Colombian alcoholic drink). We will cook in my kitchen, and once finished, we will set the table and enjoy the meal altogether. Please bring the best attitude and the best smile because I believe that what is made with happiness tastes better!

Saldremos a recorrer la ciudad en bicicleta eléctrica en grupos pequeños (5 personas máximo). Tenemos 3 rutas diferentes; Centro, Parques o Norte. En la Ruta Centro iremos a probar pandebonos, buñuelos y avena en Galerías, veremos un poco de grafitti sobre la calle 26, pasaremos por Teusaquillo, centro internacional, Candelaria, Centro Histórico y al regresar tomarémos un jugo de salpicón en el parque nacional y regresamos a Chapinero. En la Ruta Parques iremos hacia el estádio de fútbol El Campín. Pasaremos por Pablo Sexto y probaremos algunas frutas locales en un pequeño mercado, luego pasaremos por Biblioteca Virgilio Barco y daremos un recorrido por el parque metropolitano Simón Bolivar, el más grande de la ciudad. De vuelta pasaremos por Galerías a probar pandebono, buñuelo y avena y finalizamos en Chapinero. En la Ruta Norte conoceremos parte de Chapinero alto, probaremos arepa con queso y seguiremos a la Zona G para luego ir hacia Usaquén, pasando por el parque del Chicó. Luego iremos al parque de la 93 y la zona rosa pasando por el parque del Virrey. Al final iremos a un café de especialidad para tener una pequeña cata de café en el barrio Quinta Camacho y terminaremos el recorrido en Chapinero. Se hará un recorrido por día y entre los participantes se escogerá la ruta.

Recogeremos a nuestros participantes a las 6:30 am en Dorado Plaza (Direccion: Calle 26 #85D - 55, Bogota D.C.). Desde las 7:45 am mi compañero/a guía o yo, iniciaremos nuestro recorrido en el PARQUE NATURAL CHICAQUE con el BOSQUE DE NIEBLA, caracteristico del ecosistema alto-andino; recorreremos los SENDEROS ANCESTRALES de varios de siglos de antigüedad que dirigen al corazón del parque, EL REFUGIO (con una FANTÁSTICA VISTA DEL VALLE DEL MAGDALENA y LOS ANDES COLOMBIANOS). Allá los participantes podrán hacer una pausa. Continuaremos hacia la CASCADA DE GRAN ALTURA, muy representativa de este parque. La actividad mas extrema es arrojarse por la tirolesa (tiene un costo adicional). A lo largo del recorrido los participantes podran apreciar diferentes especies de plantas y arboles, aves, insectos y pequeños mamiferos del ecosistema alto-andino. En el recorrido daré informacion histórica de la importancia de dichos corredores ancestrales y promoveré a los participantes recolectar basura para conservacion de este ecosistema. La distancia total recorrida oscila entre 8km y 14km, dependiendo de los diferentes senderos que tomemos.
