The activities offered in this experience are attending a beautiful event - Evening Ganga Aarti, evening boat ride, walking along Ganga Ghat and narrow lanes of this unique city, visiting some temples and sacred cremation site. Ganga Aarti is performed daily in the evening by a group of priests at Dashaswamedh Ghat. Ganga Aarti is the magnificent event during evening in Banaras. It will be a wonderful experience for you, memorable for whole life. This beautiful ritual makes every moment of the evening special and fills with spiritual thoughts. The whole event takes around 45 minutes. Ganga Aarti starts around 6 pm in winter and 7 pm in summer after the sunset.

After Ganga Aarti we will visit some temples including Nepali Temple, Brihaspati Temple, Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple and the most sacred cremation site -Manikarnika Ghat. I will bring you to the old city markets including wholesale market, silk and Banarasi Sari market. We will visit major universities - Banaras Hindu University (One of the biggest university in the world), Central University for Tibetan Studies (Buddhist University), Sampurnand Sanskrit University (Unique Architecture) and Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth. We will stop at Bharat Mata Mandir - this temple has a huge map of undivided India carved in marble. We will visit Birla Temple (New Kashi Vishwanath Temple) and Tulsi Manas Mandir. Next, we will visit Sarnath - the center of Buddhism. In Sarnath you will see Buddhist Temples and a Jain Temple, along with Archaeological Museum. You will get beautiful and unique photographic locations in Sarnath. Food Walk With Monu
We'll meet at the famous city center Godowlia crossing opposite the hotel Ganges Grand. We'll start our food walk with the newly opened place called The Tiksho which makes really great Aloo Tikki. Then we will walk towards the Laxmi Chai shop who makes great chai. We'll then walk towards the Ram Bhandar to try Aloo Cutlet. Later we'll visit the one of the oldest sweet shop of Varanasi called Rajbandhu to try Malai Gilori. Varanasi is well known for this. Our tour ends with the best Paan of Kashi at the end of the famous Vishwanath Gali. They say that if you have not tried Banarasi Paan then you have not visited Varanasi. Varanasi Walking Tour With Monu
I'll meet you at the city center of Varanasi called Godowlia, opposite the famous Hotel Ganges Grand. We'll then head towards the famous Gali called Vishwanath Gali passing through the twisty alleyways of the old town. Once we have covered this alleyway, we will walk through the Bangali Tola area which is mostly full with foreigners and cafes. As this will be our tour towards North of Varanasi, we are going to see some hidden temples, ashrams and the famous Cremation ghat called Harishchandra Ghat. We will then head towards the Assi Ghat passing through the old Galis of Varanasi. We will stop by a tea shop on the way to have a ten mins break. After covering the main spots, we will then come back to the famous Dhashashwamedh Ghat where the evening Ganga Aarati is held everyday. Our tour ends over here.

Next, we will visit Sarnath - the center of Buddhism. In Sarnath you will see Buddhist Temples and a Jain Temple, along with Archaeological Museum. You will get beautiful and unique photographic locations in Sarnath. The other attractions in Sarnath are Garden of Spiritual Wisdom, Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhammek Stupa, Chinese, Korean & Japanese temples. We will stop for local tea and snacks. We can explore other activities depending on time available and your taste like- Natural site (confluence of river Varuna and Ganga), Craft's Museum at TFC, Weavers Village, Tomb of Lal Khan, Ramnagar Fort and Museum, Agori Ashram, local food trail etc. The real culture and life style of this place can be experienced in very short duration in this bike tour.
Food Walk With Monu
We'll meet at the famous city center Godowlia crossing opposite the hotel Ganges Grand. We'll start our food walk with the newly opened place called The Tiksho which makes really great Aloo Tikki. Then we will walk towards the Laxmi Chai shop who makes great chai. We'll then walk towards the Ram Bhandar to try Aloo Cutlet. Later we'll visit the one of the oldest sweet shop of Varanasi called Rajbandhu to try Malai Gilori. Varanasi is well known for this. Our tour ends with the best Paan of Kashi at the end of the famous Vishwanath Gali. They say that if you have not tried Banarasi Paan then you have not visited Varanasi. I'll then drop you to the same spot where we met at the starting point. In case if you are allergic to any food, please feel free to let me know so that I can skip that item from the tour. Morning Ceremony with walk in to old city
