The Cartshed is located on a very quiet, no-through road in the beautiful village of Osmington in Dorset. It has accommodation for 6 people across three bedrooms (two double rooms and one twin room with bunk beds). There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen (gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board), and a comfortable sitting room with a large open fire, sky TV, DVD and CD player, books and games. A cot and high chair can be provided (free of charge) upon request. There is off-road parking for two cars at the front of the property, and for one car to the rear of the property. The front garden is enclosed with a stone wall and gate, and has a pond and stream (both guarded), and a swing set. The secluded back garden is enclosed by hedges and has a small patio area with seating and a barbeque, and a lawn area with a clothes line. The cottage has been converted from an old barn and has retained a sense of history and character with its stone walls, exposed timber beams and flagstone floors. It is ideally situated for walks to the white horse, and along the coastal paths to Lulworth in the east and Weymouth in the west. Guests have the added benefit of private parking at Eweleaze Farm for access to the secluded beach at Redcliff Point. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. Well-behaved pets are welcome at the Cartshed, and guests can borrow a dog from Eweleaze Farm for the day.
This is a small brick built building set on a hill at Shortlake Farm just to the south of the village. It is built on the site of a WWII gun battery, and commands panoramic views over Weymouth & Portland, and out across the English Channel.It is located just off a quiet no-through-road, up a gravel track, and is surrounded by pasture. Apart from the outstanding views, the SW Coastpath is nearby for walks into Weymouth (3m) and Lulworth Cove (7m). Osmington village with The Sunray pub, and a couple of small shops, is about a 5 minutes walk away. The walk to Shortlake Farm's private beach takes just 5 minutes or so across the fields.The accommodation consists of a main living/ bedroom area, with table and chairs, double bed and wardrobes, TV with DVD, and the picture window!The front door enters into the kitchen, which has the usual essentials including a washing machine, fridge and combi oven.The bathroom with shower and toilet is located off the other end of the living area.Outside a small patio area with table and chairs overlooks Weymouth Bay, and continues beyond onto grassy fields.The pictures speak for themselves - 180 degree plus uninterrupted views over the surrounding sea and coastline. Around the property are fields belonging to the farm where we graze sheep and occasionally cattle.Pets welcome, borrow a dog, Farm Shop, no smoking, conservatory.

The kitchen offers oven, microwave oven, induction hob and dishwasher. There is also a breakfast bar with four stools. The dining table accommodates ten using six chairs and a bench for four. There is comfortable sofa seating for eight plus beanbags. There is a large decked area with dining for eight. FIRST FLOOR The master bedroom boasts stunning views over Beaumont Lake complete with king size bed and en-suite with large walk in shower. There is a second king size bedroom with en-suite shower room, a third king size bedroom and a fourth bedroom that has two bunk beds sleeping four. From the first floor there are stairs to the roof terrace with outdoor dining and views across Silverlake. ADDITIONAL Towels and bed linen provided.
