This typical Madeiran Cottage, Cyane & Vigo’s Cottage, was built in 1952 and renovated in 2007. It was established in 2008, and it is run and managed by the owner. Here, you will find peace and tranquillity on this beautiful Atlantic coastline on the slopes of a rural village called Arco da Calheta, which catches the first and the last of the day’s sunshine. The guest house is close to all amenities, yet quiet and peaceful, where you will be able to enjoy superb views. It is set in tranquil surroundings and a beautiful tropical garden. Lots of lovely details like paintings of the owner, knitted curtains, an old fireplace in the kitchen, all this makes this house unique. There are 3 double bedrooms / 2 bathrooms in the main house. A double sofa-bed is available in the TV room. You can enjoy the panoramic view from the beautiful garden, relax in a garden in the shade or on the sunny terrace - reading a book or sitting on a stony bench in the garden, while enjoying the superb view over the Atlantic Ocean and the valley of this beautiful village. The house is located at around 300 metres above sea level, that´s why it has that breathtaking view over the mountains, the village and the sea, and it takes about 10 minutes driving to the beautiful Calheta beach.
