Surrounded by meadows, trees, flowers and cows, yet close to the sea, the village of Ardre is a little paradise. Our white lime 19th century farmhouse and its big garden are a haven of peace. Your house is separate from the main house where we stay and you also have your own space in the garden. You'll dispose of a big loft with a sunny balcony, a comfortable sofa-bed and 3 single beds, a kitchenette and a table for 6, an outside shower room (hot water) and an old-time toilet (no water).

The house, called "The Ateljéhuset", is 300 meters from the sea with a ten kilometer long sandy beach in one direction and one of Gotland´s best fishing spots for trout along the cliffs in the other directon. From the bedroom, the dining area and the terrace you can look stright across the Baltic Sea and always hear the waves. The house adjoins to Danbo Nature Reserve. It is a paradise for hikers where you can enjoy untouched nature, yet there are really good restaurants nearby.
