Berneray is a beautiful island with stunning beaches. Our home offers a ground floor room with kingsize bed and private shower room adjacent. Tea and coffee are freely available and a continental style breakfast is included. Guests have a private sitting room with Sky TV and wifi access.
The property appears modern but is actually an ancient traditional dry stone croft house. The original walls are intact inside the exterior skin, rendering the property exceptionally warm and dry. The sitting room is a few meters from the sea, fitted with two huge picture windows for a fantastic view of seals, sea birds and occasional otters. If you really need to watch TV, broadband Wi-Fi compensates for poor mobile phone and TV signal reception.
“The Snug” at Otters Lodge is a private part of a family home over looking the shore on the beautiful Island of Grimsay. This makes a fabulous central location to explore Uist. There is a Café within walking distance of the house serving food all day, evenings only on Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate your pets in the Snug. A warm welcome awaits you from your hosts Robin and Michelle.
