Ready for some SUP therapy? Learn to stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and enjoy a SUP safari on the beautiful River Avon with Wittering SUP; an ASI accredited SUP school and a British Canoeing Delivery Partner. Perfect for absolute beginners, you'll learn how to stand up paddleboard followed by a peaceful tour of the beautiful river Avon to enjoy the tranquillity and local wildlife (kingfishers, deer, herons, wagtails, skylarks, swallows, Canada Geese, buzzards, Red Kites, otters, mink and even rare curlews!). With an ASI qualified SUP Technical Coach (and all gear provided), you will learn everything you need to start your paddleboarding adventure; how to kneel and ultimately stand on a board, correct paddle-stroke and turning techniques as well as safety and equipment knowledge before we head off on our adventure! Ideal for couples, families or friend groups from age 12+ so long as you can swim at least 50m. This a very accessible water sport and you don't need any experience to join in. Would you like to tour Stratford with a professional Shakespearean? Come with me on a tour of the town which will open your eyes, both to the Stratford that Shakespeare would have experienced as a boy, and the exciting theatre town it is today. The tour will start at the Jester statue at the top of Henley Street, right beside Shakespeare's Birthplace. We will begin with a conversation about what you know so far about Stratford's famous son. Then we will wander down the pedestrian street while I point out key features of the Birthplace and give you a chance to take a picture beside the latest statue of the great man. Next we will walk to New Place, Shakespeare's school and Hall's Croft, all sites that are currently closed to visitors but which can be viewed from outside while I discuss their importance. Once we reach Holy Trinity Church, the site of Shakespeare's grave, we will have covered all seven ages of this man. Walking back along the Avon we will switch to discussing the history of the Royal Shakespeare Company, passing The Other Place, the Swan Theatre and the Royal Festival Theatre. I will given you an insight into the rich performance history of the town and a few hints about where actors can usually be sighted. Note: the paths we take are all very accessible but we will be on our feet for the full hour and a half.

An urban industrial setting at it's finest where you take center stage. During the experience you’ll have both natural and posed photos taken around the quirky streets of Digbeth. We can also take an alternative route through Victoria Square, Centenary Square and then along the canal through Gas Street Basin. The experience lasts 1 hour and follows a path of great urban backdrops, perfect for personal phototraits. We’ll meet at a point in the center of Birmingham. You’ll be given up to 10 edited photos of your choice of the photoshoot.

You will arrive @theland and take a tour of our 3 acre plot. We will go through some basic safety information about the relevant animal you have chosen to learn about (approx 10min). On the horse experience you will gain knowledge about each of our horses and their story. We will explain about field and stable management, their routines, herd behaviour, and then you will get to meet the horse you will be grooming. You will be shown how to bring the horse in from the field and be able to guide it down to the stables (approx 30min) We will show you how to groom the horse to a good standard, tac up a horse ready for riding (time permitting) and what commands are used for getting the horse to stand, walk and trot (weather permitting). This is called lunging (approx 20 min). You will finish the session by feeding the horses and getting a photo with them. We ask that you join us with a sense of open-mindedness. When working with animals, the schedule revolves around them. Bring your sense of adventure and an appreciation for spontaneity as, really, anything can happen! Other things to note You may have not been around horses, but with our experience and expertise there really is nothing to worry about. All our horses are kind, gentle and approachable.
