We will sail along one of the most romantic place in Italy: the Sorrentine peninsula. We will meet in Sorrento (Marina Piccola) and you will first get familiar with the boat and its equipment. We will pass the cape of Sorrento, also known as Queen Giovanna's Baths, and we will catch sight of Capri island. Direction West, we will see cape Campanella and we will do navigation around Capri island . We will sail around the island, admiring all the major attractions along the coast, exploring all the caves, including the Blue Grotto(entry ticket is 14 euro). You will enjoy the blue sea of Capri, swimming and snorkeling in the most crystalline waters of the world. While sailing, you can sunbathe and relax, with the beauty of Capri before your eyes. At the end of the tour we will offer you a taste of local "limoncello". The workshop is held in the school of the Verace Neapolitan Pizza Association and involves the preparation of pizza with the help of an instructor of the Association that will lead the participants on this interactive journey. We will leave the civil garments to become pizza chefs with a personalized apron designed for the occasion, we will talk about the "ideal" products, we will prepare the dough by hands to be able to understand the right consistency, will roll the dough on the counter of pizzaiolo and, after having covered it with tomato, Campana buffalo mozzarella, basil and olive oil, the participants will be ready to bake it according to tradition in the old wood-fired pizza oven. Our journey will starts with a walking in which we will discover the village, its farmers and food tradition. We will also collect ingredients useful in our cooking. So, after reached our kitchen, we will prepare our meal in a cooking class learning how to set up traditional and innovative recipes using the best of food production of the region. Many of this products belongs to the Ark of Taste and Slow Food Presidia or comes directly from some local Slow Food Community. We always prepare the entire lunch making several starters, colorful salads, fresh pasta, pesto or other sauces and desserts. We will end our food journey tasting the prepared 4 courses learning how to pair it with 3 different wines and homemade liquors. We will explore my vineyard, passing trough the orchard and the cave where I collect seasonal products (vegetables, cheese and charcuterie). Once in the wine cellar, we will start the tasting of 4 house wines (red and white) and I will explain the production process. Later, on the panoramic terrace just in front of the winery, we will eat some fresh salami and cheese plates that I produce. The spontaneous interaction is at the base of our philosophy so, according to the season, there will be different ingredients! Other things to note Let us know if you need a transfer. All cooking classes start with a description of the daily menu and of its ingredients, with specific reference to seasonality and provenance... plus some interesting story or legend connected to thir preparation. In my kitchen all guests will have available all needed ingredients and tools to carry out preparations. I will guide them step by step in such a way that they will learn how to select ingredients and easily reproduce the recipes at home. Our traditional menu includes preparation of: 1. Ci incontreremo all'ingresso della Stazione Marittima di Salerno al Molo Manfredi. Puoi venire a piedi oppure in bus/taxi o con la tua auto. Qui ci imbarcheremo e dopo un briefing sulla sicurezza, usciremo dal porto ed inizieremo la navigazione a vela (se c'è vento) verso Amalfi (3 ore di navigazione). Potrai vedere dal mare la splendida Amalfi Coast, dove potrai tuffarti nelle splendide acque della Costiera, pranzare nella Baia del Cavallo Morto e visitare incantevoli insenature accessibili solo dal mare; potrai fare snorkeling o goderti il sole ed il panorama in assoluta tranquillità. Se lo desideri, posso svolgere mini lezioni di vela e farti partecipare attivamente alle manovre e alla navigazione della barca. Entro le ore 20,00 rientreremo in porto a vela a Salerno e potrai ammirare il famoso tramonto della costiera Amalfitana L'itinerario e l'orario di rientro sono flessibili, farò il possibile per accontentarti in funzione delle condizioni meteo e dei tempi di navigazione. Ricorda che la mia è una barca a vela, non è veloce, naviga lentamente. La mia proposta non è un noleggio di barca con skipper e nemmeno di un tour commerciale, ma un'esperienza da vivere con gli amici. Bisogna essere minimo in due persone. Our experience will take place aboard a beautiful sailboat off the Amalfi coast on the fabled Mare Azzurro, where we will be exploring many beautiful beaches and places that you can only access from the sea. Feel the warm sun on your face and the wind in your hair. You can go for a swim or just enjoy all the beauty that will be surrounding you on board! We could also take a pause in one of the exclusive beach restaurant in Amalfi reachable only by boat. Other things to note: Ask if you need a different schedule or a different trip, I could arrange a customized experience just for you. Starting from Marina Piccola (Sorrento Port) 9 am i will birng you to the discover the marvels of the Amalfi along the peninsula’s coast line from Punta Campanella Lighthouse to the Amalfi Cathedral. Our first sto will be in the protect area called Le Mortelle , there, we will enjoy a refreshing aperitif on board. We will then sail to Amalfi and stop at Li Galli's islands where we will stop for a swim, providing you with snorkelling equipment. Arrived in Amalfi around 11:30 pm where you’ll have 1 hour and half of free time ashore for a visit of the stunning town and the famous Duomo. On your boarding i will offer you lunch, a special caprese sandwich (mozzarella and tomato ) Then after we'll sail along the spectacular Amalfi Coast , admiring the lovely bay of Praiano , Furore Fiord and a swim stop in the clear waters of Conca dei Marini visiting the Famous Emerald Grotto . Arrived in Positano at around 14:30 where we'll stop in the Positano Beach , you'll have 1 hour and half free time to explore the wonders of this coastal gem. On board again we'll sail along the Amalfi Coast visiting al the cove of Crapolla, and the Isca's island until the amazing Bay of Dreams , where we'l have our last stop for swimming inside the blue waters of the Fisherman’s Grotto. - Departure at 10am from the Amalfi dock - Once in navigation, the tour includes: 1) Visit below the coast towards Maiori and admire the towns of Amalfi, Atrani, Castiglione di Ravello, Ravello, Minori and Maiori, where you will visit the Pandora Cave. 2) Once the visit of the cave is finished, we will proceed towards Positano where you’ll admire the Natural Arch in Conca dei Marini, the Villa of Sophia Loren, the Hotel Saraceno, the bay of Conca dei Marini, the villa of Jacqueline Kennedy, the villa of the Agnelli family, and the villa of Moet Chandon up to the Capo di Conca. During this first part of the tour, you will be served fresh drinks. 3) The navigation will proceed in the direction of the Fiordo di Furore, Praiano, to then reach Positano where the landing is scheduled to visit this wonderful city. 4) Once the visit to Positano is over, we will proceed towards the Li Galli Island. The Tour includes, on request, the possibility of being able to enjoy local dishes at various restaurants in Nerano, Conca dei Marini or eating on board, all accompanied by stops to allow customers to enjoy our wonderful sea. Savor mouthwatering Mozzarella, stop by one of Neapolitans most famous pizzerias, from 1935, to taste the traditional fried pizza and the wallet pizza, also known as “pizza a portafoglio”. As part of our 5th savory stops, taste the real “frittatina” (fried pasta, with béchamel sauce, ham, meat and peas). It just tastes like heaven! Visit the Limoncello Factory, and taste different kinds of liqueurs. Finally, while we walk through "Spaccanapoli” taste real Italian Ice Cream and sink your teeth into local pastries such as Babà and Sfogliatella from a traditional pastry shop from 1837! My hometown of Positano was famous for tarantella and tammorra, traditional local dance. l want let you experience the local tradition combineted with tour around our magnificent coast. We give you a traditional tambourine and red napkin to start our tour with traditional local music of tarantella. We stop in Arienzo, where we tell about the history of this place. Following comes Praiano and you can swim into "Pirate grotto". We follow the coast til Furore playing and singing with tambourine "La Dolce Vita" like Sofia Loren in her film. We reach Conca Dei Marini, Santa croce beach we stop to swim in the cristalline water and you can see the elefant kissing rock. We stop to serve a classic napoletan aperitif with bruschette, tarallucci with fennel, olives, our traditional cheese and Prosecco. I want to show you my tipical boat day like an ancient family, we don't want to lose our traditions. We continue to sail to Amalfi, there you will have some freetime so you can visit the city, shopping, tasting traditional pastry and limoncello. When you are ready, we will pick you up and start to sail back to Positano on the rhythm of tarantella. We offer fresh fruit and prosecco. We pick you up in Marina Grande of Sorrento and we start our day along the Sorrentine Coast going to Capri. During the navigation, you have the possibility to enjoy breathtaking views of the coast sipping Prosecco and soft drinks, on the notes of typical italian music. You will admire Sorrento by boat, the ancient roman villa of Regina Giovanna, the old fishermen villages "Puolo" and "Marina della Lobra", the Vervece rock, the Saracens tower and the netural waterfall of S.Lorenzo, where you can refresh. After the waterfall, we will continue the navigation towards Capri. Arrived in Capri, we will show you all the worldknown places of the island! Like Marina Grande, Tiberio villa, the green, white, red and heart grotto, blue grotto (the entrance 14euros not included in the price), Punta Carena lighthouse, Marina Piccola, via Krupp, elephant arch and of course the symbol of Capri "I faraglioni".There will be several stops during the day to let you enjoy the renomated blue water jumping in. During the tour we will offer you panzanella, prosecco, soft drinks and also fruit on our way back. You are welcome on board like on of our friends.
