Charming ocean front cottage with views from Santa Cruz to Monterey. Located in Sunset State Park near Capitola and Santa Cruz. Path to quiet beach for great walks and glimpses of dolphins. A perfect place for a getaway or romantic weekend. Pets by request only please. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. TWO people maximum on the property at any time. There is only parking for ONE car. Stay in our Carmel Rustic Cabin along with your FurKid (see dog fee below) while shopping, visiting local wineries and restaurants or just walking your dog off-leash along Carmel's white sandy beach. Hidden in the woods, our rustic cabin is like a treehouse with all the amenities and minutes from downtown and the beaches. FYI the coast drive is now accessible between here and LA, but may be shut down during stormy weather, so be sure to follow local weather reports or just call Caltrans.
Featured by Sunset Magazine as a “chic escape.” Inside, mid-century furniture and architectural details are made of natural materials like wood and stone setting a calming, sanctuary tone throughout. Curl up with a good read by the light streaming through floor to ceiling windows and under soaring wooden beams or tuck in for the evening by closing the sliding doors inspired by Japanese shoji screens. We strive to provide a safe environment for our guests to enjoy. We thoroughly clean and sanitize after each guest. Pets will be considered on a case by case basis. There is a $100 pet fee.
