You’ll be welcomed into my opened kitchen and lush garden to master the fine art of cooking the perfect paella, following my grandmother’s recipe. I'll explain how to prepare it and will share with you some stories around that traditional dish. We are going to cook, enjoy wine, tapas and a delicious meal together whilst I give you an insight into one of the most coveted recipes in the world. This experience is family friendly, kids are very welcomed! (Children under 6 years doesn't pay). Other things to note: Our secret garden has also a comfortable and cozy space were we can enjoy the experience and the scene in case of having not a perfect weather that day.

After a welcome coffee to our XV century old house, we'll go downstairs to the stables to brush and saddle up the horses, and then we'll ride for about two hours across the silent, ancient landscape of Segarra, the Catalan Tuscany, on our way to some small medieval Catalan village. Wheat and barley fields, organic wineyards, old almond and olive trees, hills and slopes furrowed by ancient dry stone walls and incredible views will melt before your sight. Don’t worry if you’ve never ridden before, you'll be a small group so we will be on hand to help, instruct and support you. After riding you can explore our small village and go up to the XI century watchtower to see the amazing views. Then we will cook and share a traditional paella in our garden made with homegrown and very local products, while we talk about life and passions. Después de todo, descansaremos entre viñedos y árboles viejos.... un picnic para disfrutar de los productos locales y, por supuesto, probar otros vinos/cavas de la región. When you feel secured and confident, I will guide you to make your horse move and dance with you. You will be able to make the horse do a circle at different speeds in total liberty. Join your guide in an air-conditioned private (not public transportation) vehicle in Barcelona for a drive up the mountain of Montserrat, named after its peculiar aspect with multitude of rock formations, it literally means saw mountain. We will travel by minibus from Barcelona to the mountaintop monastery of Montserrat. This mountain and its Monastery which was founded in the 10th century and still functions to this day, with over 150 monks. After the visit of the Monastery, we will go to the ranch to start our horseback riding along the Natural Park, offering breathtaking views of Montserrat. All while enjoying the freedom and tranquillity of the countryside. Due to the large number of visitors, the visit may be delayed on Saturdays and Sundays. During Mondays, the horses rest and we will go to another ranch different from the main one. Other things to note -This horseback experience is appropriate for all levels of skill and ability. -Due to horse safety restrictions, anyone with a weight above 95 KG or below 12 years of age won't be allowed to join this activity -Pregnant wowen cannot join the experience - The visit to the Moreneta is not guaranteed
