The food eaten here is locally grown. Raithal is known for Dayara Bugyal, located at 3408m. It is an 8.5 km scenic trek all the way to the top and is recommended for beginners. The cottage is in midst of greenery and guests would need to climb up a steep hill for 400 m that takes 10 to 15 mins.
