Limon Waterfall like a local
Do you want to help us to improve the lives of the Families of El Limón? The profit is for the families and to improve children's education. This is a social project with the NGO Projects for Children. El Salto del Limon is a waterfall in the middle of a valley in the province of Samaná (Dominican Republic).
The Walk lasts around 2h (1h one way + 30min return + 30min relax). you will walk along a hike beginner level path, explaining the local tree species (pineapple, coconut, cocoa, almonds) and seeing and tasting its fruits.
You can swim in the two waterfalls and take pictures.
On the way back, you will be able to eat typical food (rice with chicken, beans and salad) with a family from the community and learn how these powerful women live from their natural environment.

Discover Sosua's Underwater World
Enjoy the underwater world in Sosua, we will explore two different Snorkeling reefs. We provide with the snorkeling equipment and a snorkeling guide.
We offer pick up from your hotel in Sosua and Cabarete.
From Puerto Plata it is easy to use Uber if you don´t have your own transportation.
Please remember to bring your towel, swim wear and sunscreen lotion.
We start from Sosua Bay, where crystal clear warm water and a 1 km long sand beach welcomes you. You will get your mask, fins, inflatable snorkel vest and instructions before we get into the water, our first snorkeling spot is Three Rocks and Sosua Bay for our second reef.
It is an unforgettable experience!

Saona Island Small Groups Experience
You will be pick up at your airbnb location in a bus with air conditioner, after we will drive from Punta Cana to Bayahibe Beach, this is one hour drive in a good highway, when we arrive at Bayahibe Beach we will board and Speed Boat, we will go on the speed boat be around 25 minutes for visit Saona Island inside Saona Island we will enjoy the beach and town of Mano Juan, the only places with civilization inside the Cotubanama protected park, here the local have one of the biggest turtle conservation of the island, we will see the turtles Mano Juan is a very unique places that will delight your sense, here we support the locals a conservation of turtles. After enjoying the Mano Juan Beach and conservation of turtles, we will take the speed boat in direction to Abanico Beach, this beach is one of the most beautiful inside Saona Island, here we will have lunch and drinks, and time for relax in the beach, take pictures and enjoy the nice color of the water, this is one of the most beautiful beach in the world. At the end of the afternoon, we will visit La Palmilla Natural Pool and see starfish, return to Bayahibe Port in our Speed Boat, and after we will drive to Punta Cana, Bavaro. Other things to note

Los pasare a buscar por el alojamiento y nos dirigiremos a alguna de las mejores playas de Punta Cana. Les contare las características de cada una y decidiremos a cual ir. La duración sera de aproximadamente 2 horas. Recomiendo hacerlo por la mañana bien temprano o al atardecer. Durante el trayecto conoceremos lugares típicos dominicanos y su cultura. En la playa caminaremos por varios lugares donde iré realizando distintas tomas naturales y divertidas. Luego volveremos al alojamiento.

¡El tour a la Isla Saona es una experiencia para toda la vida! Esta isla es sin duda el destino más deseado y visitado por los turistas locales e internacionales, la Saona no sólo es famosa por sus majestuosas playas y la diversión que ofrece este tour, sino también por su increíble valor histórico y cultural.
La Isla Saona no es un destino más, la Isla Saona tiene 110 kilómetros de costa pura y hermosas playas de fina arena blanca, es parte fundamental del Parque Nacional Cotubanamá y es el hábitat natural de infinidad de especies marinas y terrestres, animales, peces y aves migratorias endémicas, entre las especies que habitan la Isla Saona.
A las 9:15 nos reuniremos frente a nuestra oficina desde donde comenzará nuestra aventura. Alrededor de las 10 de la mañana subirán al Catamarán con barra libre y música para iniciar su travesía hacia la Isla Saona por el Mar Caribe, a mitad de la navegación tendrán una parada de 45 minutos en la hermosa piscina natural , una vez pasado el tiempo, avanzarán su travesía hasta llegar a la Isla Saona donde disfrutarán de unas 3 horas 30 minutos. Allí le estará esperando un almuerzo buffet caliente en la playa y muchas tumbonas para relajarse.
Aproximadamente a las 16:00 horas embarcará en una lancha rápida para regresar a Bayahibe sobre las 17:00 horas.
Aventura en Buggy desde Punta cana Playa macao y cueva
Acompáñame a una emocionante y divertida aventura en “buggy car”, la misma recorrerá paisajes y plantaciones de café, cacao y tabaco.
Nota: hay posibilidades de que el vehículo se apague por el agua y el fango pero nuestro mecánicos estarán ahí para ayudarles. Los buggy son dobles para 2 personas y familiar para 4 ( Las reserva son de 2 personas en adelante )
El recorrido empieza desde el momento que estés en nuestro transporte , dura en total de aproximadamente de 4 horas desde el momento de la recogida.
Visitaremos una casa típica dominicana donde conocerá los diferentes procesos y productos de los cultivos recorridos y podrá deleitarse de un mundo nuevo de sabores y olores de nuestra patria.
Continuaremos el recorrido en “buggy car” hacia Playa Macao. Permítase nadar en sus refrescantes aguas. Luego conduciremos hasta llegar a una cueva subterránea de aguas cristalinas, donde podrá disfrutar de un exótico y refrescante baño.
Será un día al aire libre lleno de diversión para aquellos que buscan gozar de la belleza natural de la República Dominicana.

Hiking Tabernacle thundering waterfall
Looking for things to do in Santo Domingo? Join me in my favorite hike in Dominican Republic: El Tabernáculo.
Difficulty level:
-Medium; when you're fit/water level is low (dry/cold season)
-High; when you're not fit/water level is high (wet/hot season)
It is completely doable in all scenarios. You must not have any injuries, don't need to be an athlete either!

We depart at 6am (pick up might start up to 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights of the mountains to get to the town where we are having a typical dominican breakfast.
After breakfast, we begin our journey. It's a 3 to 4-hour route within hiking, swimming, climbing, etc. Swimming is mandatory (no need to know how to swim, you'll have a life vest). Water is cold. You can leave your bags in the car while hiking.
After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. We come back happy and with good memories to Santo Domingo at 5pm.

Lo primero que árenos es buscarlo en su lugar de alojamiento para ir hasta Bayahibe de donde saldrá el Catamaran.
Nota: El barco sale aproximadamente 10:30 am , llegada a la isla aproximadamente 1:00pm . Tiempo en la isla aproximadamente 2 horas .
Una vez estemos en Bayahibe Tomaremos una lancha rápida para iniciar el viaje a la Isla Saona por el Mar Caribe.
Vamos hacer de una parada en la hermosa Piscina Naturalmente hasta llegar a Isla Saona.
• Disfrutaremos de la Isla donde también nos espera una rica comida típica dominicana hecha con amor por los habitantes de la isla la cual podrán disfrutar en frente de la playa Virginia de la Isla saona.
Luego vamos abordar un hermoso catamarán para regresar a Bayahibe. En el catamarán, disfrutaremos. de la fiesta, bebidas ilimitadas, snacks y el baile con nuestra animación durante todo el camino.
Cuando lleguemos a la Bayahibe nuevamente nuestro transporte lo estará esperando para llevarlo de regreso a su hotel o lugar de alojamiento.

Embark with us on a full day (10 hours) of pleasure, fun and discovery:
-Pickup from your hotel to the meeting point. From there you’ll be transferred to a travel bus to Bayahibe.
-Once there, we’ll onboard a Speedboat or Catamaran to Soana Island.
-Enjoy the open bar and dancing to Caribbean rhythms while cruising towards Soana Island.
-Once at Soana Island, you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes: mangroves, coral reefs and of course, the majestic beaches while the open Buffet is being prepared (Dominican cuisine).
-After lunch, there will be more animation and fun. You’ll learn to dance local Dominican music but you’re free to sunbathe on the beach, swim or just take endless selfies.
-Towards the end of the afternoon, we’ll stop and enjoy the Natural Pool at Playa Palmilla (clear turquoise water at waist level) to see Starfishes.

Going deep into the authentic Dominican hood
Get to know the inside of an authentic Dominican neighborhood along with its music, it’s food and most importantly it’s people. This will include a guided tour telling the history of the places we will visit in English or Spanish, one ride in our cable car and metro system, access to a typical Dominican house, access to our natural pools and time for bath, boat ride which will take us to see the castle where Christopher Columbus’s son lived and three of his generation. We will also go underneath four of the most important bridges in Santo Domingo (note: the boat ride it’s for groups of 4 people and above) and one typical Dominican meal. Here we will enjoy a walking tour around Chocolate Mountain, we are going to talk about history of cacao, all the steps of the cacao process from the bean all the way to the bar. Learn of the growing process, plantation, harvesting, fermentation, processes, drying, roasting and even get an opportunity to refining until you create your own Chocolate ball.

Dichas excursiones tiene un tiempo de duración de 5 horas aproximado ( va a depender del ritmo que lleve cada persona del grupo y del tiempo que duremos en los ríos o cascada).

Pico Diego de Ocampo, senderismo
Esta excursión es para todo tipo de persona con un nivel de dificultad bajo-medio ya que se realizará en ritmo de caminata. En el trayecto hay 5 paradas para descansar y donde se podrá apreciar la flora característica del lugar.
Consta de 6 km de sendero boscoso y montañoso, la cima se encuentra a una altura de 1,249 msnm, ofreciendo un hermosa vista de todo el valle del Cibao y gran parte de Puerto Plata.
Al finalizar la ruta nos estará esperando un rico almuerzo típico de la zona .
Si vives en Santiago de los Caballero o visita dicha ciudad, debes de conquistar la cima mas alta de toda la cordillera septentrional.
Inmersión local en el barrio dominicano
Los viajeros consiguen conectar con la esencia de República Dominicana, ganar una mayor empatía con otras personas, experimentar la real vida de Santo Domingo y aprender de su cultura en una realidad frecuentemente muy desconocida por la mayor parte de las personas que viajan al país. Actividades:

Este tour es totalmente seguro gracias a la relación con los líderes comunitarios y tenemos experiencia con el barrio en trabajos sociales, pero como en todos los lugares, se recomienda no llevar a la vista artículos de lujo o llamativos. No hay problema con cámaras y móviles.

Sandboarding & snorkeling at the Dominican desert
Looking for things to do in Dominican Rpublic? Ready to explore the Dominican desert and its sand dunes, salt ponds and coral reefs?
We depart at 6:30am (Pickup might start up to 30 minutes before), take a 2-hour road trip to Salinas, with some stops on the way.
Our first stop is for an authentic Dominican breakfast at a local place. After that, we visit the sand dunes and spend some time learning about them, taking pictures, and of course, sandboarding. I'm not a certified instructor, we're just having fun. No experience required.
After having fun at the dunes, we walk through the salt mines and its pink lakes, where we see the salt process and workers taking salt out of the lakes.
Our last attraction is playa El Derrumbao, where we are going to do some snorkeling. To get there, we take a 20 minute walk (one way) under the hot sun. We walk into the beach with urchins and grab the goggles to watch the coral reefs and fish underwater. It's beautiful!
Then, we walk back and change clothes by the car. There's no dressing room, Then we go back to the same local place for some authentic Dominican lunch. After lunch, we return to Santo Domingo, happy and tired at around 5pm.

Hiking DR's most impressive waterfall
Looking for things to do in Santo Domingo? Join me in this hike to the most impressive waterfall in DR'!
Difficulty level: High. You must be in shape.
(For a less challenging experience, book 'Hiking Tabernacle Thundering Waterfall'. You don't have to be in shape for that 1).

After breakfast, we begin our journey to La Culebra waterfall. It's a 5-hour journey total: we go uphill, then downhill to the creek. Then we hike/climb upstream to the waterfall and spend some time there. Then we go downstream to the top of a 27m high waterfall (Tabernacle waterfall, my other experience) and rappel it down. Then we keep going downstream through several waterholes until the end, with different options to get down.
This is a strenuous route. If you're out of shape, don't book it. You must not have injuries. No rapel experience required
After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. We come back happy and with good memories to Santo Domingo at around 5pm.
