In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO. The day starts at our meeting point and then we will be heading to the Valley. For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints to the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region), olive oil, and other products produced with olives and everything paired with local bread, jelly, cheeses and hams. At this winery we will have the chance to have a small walk at the vines and depending on the stage of the vineyard, learn about the work being done at the moment, such as, pruning, grafting and harvesting. During this Tile Painting Workshop you will learn the highlights of the history of this heritage, how this beautiful tiles were painted traditionally and will have the chance to paint tile replicas of Porto (or your own design).
