Relax on the blush corner couch under a surf-inspired gallery wall at a boutique retreat complete with ukulele's, a vinyl record player, yoga mats and all the Hawaiian coffee you can enjoy. The loft is located just a 1-minute walk from the quite beach in Kihei which is perfect for young kids to wade in the ocean. Wake up in the mornings and take a dip in the pool or hot tub and listen to the chirping of the tropical birds or the swaying of the palm trees in the breeze. Enjoy your warm evenings on the cozy lanai, drink in hand swinging in the egg-shaped chair while basking in the beauty of Maui Our loft is bright and airy and carefully curated with decor, furniture and accessories found on the island. Some of the features we love about our second home is the blush pink sofa, patio swinging chair with string marquee lights, the super comfortable beds, our nostalgic record player with a collection of Hawaiian vinyl and the two ukuleles we supply in the loft for the guests enjoyment. There's an air conditioner in the main living room with ceiling fans and tower fans in the bedrooms. There's two XL twin size beds in the downstairs bedroom but let us know in advance if you want our housekeeper to slide them together to make it another king size bed for you to enjoy. In the master bedroom there’s a king sized bed, dresser so you can settle in and an en-suite restroom. Board and card games (bananagrams, snakes & ladders, boggle, monopoly deal, candyland, scrabble, Dutch blitz, UNO) located in the TV stand and a collection of magazines, fiction novels and kid books in the wood cabinet next to the kitchen table for usage during your stay. We also supply Apple TV with super fast wifi so you have the comforts of home. If you have younger children we supply a pack and play, play pen sheets, a booster seat, baby gate, plastic dinnerware and hardcover kid books. Let us know and we will have our house keeper pull that out in advance for your usage. There’s 3 boogie boards available for usage, 2 large cooler bags, 4 beach towels, sand toys for the kids and 4 lounging beach chairs for your enjoyment. We want to know we’ve done everything possible to make your stay enjoyable and entertaining, so please let us know how we might accommodate to your needs and that of your family. We want to know we've exceeded your expectations for your stay at PRAY for SURF loft. You might be lucky and find a box of macadamia nut chocolates at the loft awaiting your arrival. Mahalo! The unit has access to a pool, hot tub, outdoor grille and kitchen, as well as a beautifully manicured central courtyard filled with palm trees and tropical fruit trees. Free parking is available for a single vehicle when renting our @PRAYforSURFloft. However, there is also free street parking surrounding the complex . Please feel free to contact us and let us know how your stay is. We want to ensure your vacation is amazing and that we can give you as many resources as possible. We have an on island representitive who lives in the complex as we reside in Canada but we are available by phone or texting. Kihei Garden Estates is a block away from a fantastic swimming beach with smooth, soft sand. Reach the island's best coffee shop called Akamai in 2 minutes, along with restaurants, gym, bike, scooter and car rentals, shave ice stall, post office, performance theatre, a dessert stop called Maui Pies, a grocery store that is open until 1am and quaint shops. Our neighbourhood is quiet and is full of more locals than tourists. We love our community. You can rent cars at the airport or at car rental shops in Kihei a couple blocks away from our condo. Another option is renting a cruiser bike and staying local during your stay. We don’t recommend scooter rentals as your safety is too important to us. There is a convenient bus route a few seconds away from the condo as well. Uber is available on the island but not as accessible as other cities. You can choose to rent an economical car at the airport or the rental shops we recommend. Some companies offer shuttle busses to and from the airport during open hours. Fill up for gas at Costco so remember your membership card! This small-quaint complex is really quiet as most people living here are year round locals either retired or who own it as a vacation home (like us). We are really cautious about the noise levels as we want to be respectful to our surrounding neighbours. So please be aware of the quiet hours from 10pm-8am and remember that people live below you. Voices carry when sitting on the lanai so be conscientious of your noise level when on the patio. Please be careful of how loud you walk inside the home as our neighbour below goes to bed at 8pm and wakes up at 5am. We don’t want to sound like a herd of elephants for them. Please be energy conscious and turn off electricity, air conditioners, fans and lights when out of the home as we want to be good to our planet. We’ve supplied the kitchen with tupperware and water bottles so that you can create less waste with plastic and styrofoam. One more planet saving tip. Spray sunscreen is killing our ocean wildlife so please consider using non toxic rub on cream sunscreen and not the spray style. Our beach and ocean life will respond by being vibrant and healthy for these small decisions we make in life. Mahalo!
