This story started over 50 years ago, when Isabel Hurtado and Vicente Uribe where invited by friends to the Rosario Islands. For Isabel it was love at first sight and with an agile management of home finances and parental support she was able to purchase the land in 1964. Vicente, a mines engineer by trade, designed and built the house that still stands. It has been the vacation house for 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Open to the public for the first time. WELCOME!

The house has been designed by Latin American awarded architect Rafael Obregon 65 years ago. It is made at of wood and with a beautiful palm leaves roof. There are two big spaces: one open space on the first floor where the living room and the terrace over the sea are, and the second one as a loft. The beds are distributed between both spaces. You can also slip under the stars at the deck. Dining room, bathrooms and kitchen are located in different buildings near the main house.

The house is surrounded by nature and the sea, perfect for a plan for couples, family, or friends. Its simple style respecting the environment allows complete relaxation. Here you will find silence, the sound of birds, and you will sleep lulled by the sound of the sea. You can have breakfast in a dining room open to the garden, and in the afternoon visit some places on the island for lunch. You can also take a boat from the garden, to take a walk around the islands.
