Dalla barca a vela vorrei farvi vedere la mia città dal mare, piazza Unità d’Italia (una delle più belle e grandi piazze affacciate sul mare), il porto, il santuario di Monte Grisa, il faro della Vittoria ed il romantico castello di Miramare. Usciremo dalla sacchetta, a pochi metri dalla centrale piazza Unità, ma prima di partire vi farò prendere confidenza con la barca e programmeremo la nostra uscita in mare in base anche alle vostre scelte e le condizioni meteo marine. Molleremo gli ormeggi e andremo a spasso nel Golfo di Trieste dove potrete ammirare la bellezza della città vista dal mare e regalarvi qualche momento di relax, una nuotata e un po' di navigazione a vela. Se il vento lo permetterà, vi insegnerò le manovre fondamentali per la navigazione costiera, ma potrete anche semplicemente stare a guardare o prendere il sole… In caso di troppo o poco vento useremo comunque il motore. This locally guided boat & walking tour allows you to explore this unique city and cruise around whilst doing so! See the best Ljubljana's spots from the river (boat) ground (walking) and sky (skyscraper) point of view. We will explore some of the greats of Ljubljana's, history, architecture, monuments and sail through the beautiful scenic canal of the river Ljubljanica. We will sail with a beautiful licensed boat of Ljubljana (official boat) which is spacious enough to feel comfortable and safe. The boat is open which will give you the true feeling of being one with the river and its beautiful surroundings, but it can be closed with panoramic windows as it can be cold or a bit rainy this time of year. Blankets are there to keep you comfy and they serve wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee to keep the inner you warm. For the other part of the tour, we'll walk through the beautiful Baroque old town, Art-Nouveau new town, Town Hall, Dragon Bridge, Farmers Market, and of course experience life of the local people. Last but not least, we will visit old skyscraper with its remarkable architecture and enjoy a panoramic view of Ljubljana from above the sky. Yes, I would love to show you my home town. Kayaking & snorkelling near the rocky beaches and cliffs in Pula, exploring the city from the seaside. We start from Valovine beach with the basics of kayaking and safety rules, after which we continue our sea adventure where we have a lot to experience. Except kayaking, it's also possible to snorkel on the beach where we make short break (about 30min), to explore the area by foot and/or to just enjoy in the sun and sea. On the last part of the adventure we go with kayaks into the cave illuminated with headlights and admire the beautiful sea colour created by the sunlight. Other things to note Groups are small, up to 8 people! We'd like to keep it cozy :) It's good to have at least basic physical condition and swimming skills. You can reach the location with your own transport (there is a parking, free of charge) or by bus.

We will take you for coffee in one of the city’s historic cafés. Here in Trieste, coffee drinking is an important ritual and we will show you how best to enjoy it, like a true Triestino. Having finished our coffees, we will hop on the historic Opicina tramway (or replacement bus if the tram network is down) and head out to the green and distinctive Karst area, the starting point of our trip. From here, we will spend around an hour hiking and taking in breath-taking views of the city and the sea. Finding a peaceful spot to stop, we will sample rebechin, a typical Triestino snack, and savour the local produce. Our walk continues through a traditional village, followed by a descent to the sea. Strolling along fishermen’s trails and passing the railway station, which was built in 1857, we end our journey in the stunning Miramare Castle park. After the tour, you may wish to cool off with a dip in the sea, visit the Castle or return with me to the city centre. If you don't get the date you are looking for in the schedule, feel free to contact me. Other things to note 5km walk on a flat path and 2km walk on a descending path with stairs (total 2 hours walk). The trail does not present any technical difficulty. In case of rain the break will take place indoor.
