Home was originally built in the 1800s! In renovating to provide useable space we’ve tried to keep as much character as possible while allowing for the comforts of today. Ideally we’d love our guests to come visit and take a cue from life before modern technology. Take a couple days, detach from smart devices, pick up a book, try a new recipe, nap, enjoy life’s simplicities. However, there is plenty of local activities as well (guidebook). Home sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably or 3 adults.

Enjoy a peaceful, rustic home stay in a quiet neighborhood just 50 minutes from the Atlanta airport. Comfortable room with a nice queen bed and your own bathroom just two steps down the hall. Look for deer in the backyard while sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch. You will be hosted by my eccentric parents, Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Dean along with the gregarious cat, Mystery, and energetic puppy, Emma. They all love visitors. There may be other guests in other levels of the house.

Come and stay in a charming 156 year old house on beautiful Floyd Street. We are .3 miles (7 minute walk) from Downtown Covington. If you are a Vampire Diaries fan we are a 5 minute walk to Elena Gilbert’s home and the Lockwood Mansion. In downtown Covington you will find Mystic Grill and the Clock tower. There is great shopping on the town square. The town provides a Vampire Diaries tour as well as a walking Ghost tour! Covington is known as the Hollywood of the South. LGBT friendly
