We offer an inspirational "off-the-beaten-track" experience of Nairobi, guided by youth from slums who raised themselves on the streets of Nairobi City Centre. During a personal, one-on-one, 3-hours walking tour in Downtown, you will experience the city centre through the eyes of street children. Get the real insights into their way of life, get captivated by their life stories and ghetto-energy, learn from their street skills, ask all your questions, shop at local markets, bargain with your guides to pay a local price, eat street food, have tea with mechanics, see street art among and last but not least become friends with them.
Social Impact: By booking a Nai Nami Tour you give disadvantaged youth from slums an opportunity to earn a regular income and inspire them as a role model.

See Kibera with a Nonprofit Founder
I'll take you on a walk through Kibera, and you'll get an up-close look at the city's largest and most thriving informal settlement. We'll visit social impact activities that supports and trains young entrepreneurs within Kibera. As we walk through Kibera, you'll meet locals and see the growing arts and music scene, while discovering daily life. I'll talk about Kibera's history, political and social struggles, and its role in greater Nairobi as we walk. You'll get a chance to experience the warmth, strength, and resiliency of Kibera's residents. At the end of the experience, we'll stop in a local shop for snacks.
Other things to note
Please bring your camera, but leave other valuables at home. Closed-toed shoes are required. You will walk about 3-5 km. Unfortunately, this tour is not accessible for those with limited mobility.

Roast & learn everything about coffee
Come and discover what it takes to make a cup of coffee as you journey through the scenic views the coffee farm has to offer. Your tour guide will explain everything about the growing and processing of coffee. He will take you on a short walk on the farm , the fermentation tanks and drying beds. Thereafter he will take you through the process of roasting of the coffee beans. Here, you will get to roast your own batch of coffee and take it as your souvenir. Finally you will have a cup of coffee and snacks at the rooftop with a view of the farm.
Other things to note
Bring your own camera, comfortable walking shoes ( preferably sports shoes) , a hat and arrange for transportation to the venue.
The Kibera Empowerment Walking Tour
See Kibera as only a local could and experience the real Kibera through the lense of hope. We’ll meet the dreamers creating a difference in Kibera through their mission-driven, small businesses. There are 5 stops on our journey...
1. Moses's House - I'll start by inviting you into my house, to tell you my story, from growing up in Kibera through starting my own tour company with a mission.
From there we’ll walk the railroad tracks of Kibera, meeting the people.
2. The Kibera Organization - We'll meet Edu who provides microloans for female-owned small businesses. They also provide motorbikes for Kibera residents to get to work.
3. Bio Gas Center - We’ll meet Edwin, the founder of a project which turns Kibera’s waste into energy for it’s inhabitants.
4. Women’s Craft Center - We’ll meet Rosemary who set up a workshop for women living with HIV. Collectively they remove the stigma of HIV by employing women with HIV to create crafts.
5. Master's Touch Bakery - At the finale of our tour, we’ll meet Nancy for coffee & fresh baked goods. Nancy will relate her story of starting a business as a single mother and the adversities women face starting a business in Kenya.

Nairobi National Park-The World's only Wildlife Capital
A short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
Our tour will begin with a pickup from your hotel at 6am. We'll then drive towards the Nairobi National Park main gate. Upon arrival, our adventure in the African Savannah begins. Within the park, we'll be able to spot many wild animals and bird species on their day to day wild mood as the magnificent African sun rises. It's a beautiful scene to behold
The park's scenery is awesome and at it's boundaries, is a magnificent view of the Maasai wilderness.Our game drive will take about 5 hours to be complete and after an amazing safari at Nairobi National Park with lots of insights from our tour guide, we'll drive back to vibrant city with a dropoff at your hotel. The aim of organising this experience is to enable our guests learn more about the local community's way of life and the income we generate from the booking fees helps in purchasing and donating school supplies to less fortunate kids here in slum
50% of the booking fees from this experience goes back to the community. There are 5 stops on our tour

Naivasha the Explorer
Hellsgate, Olkaria Spa, Lake Naivasha
This one day experience is suitable for guests in Nairobi, Nakuru, Kiambu and other areas around Naivasha. Guests can enjoy the experience and get back to their respective locations on the same day.
After picking guests from their locations, we start with:
1. A tour of Hellsgate National Park by bicycle or using tourist vans. Use of bicycles is preferred for an engaging tour. Other means are also accepted.
2. Visit to Olkaria Geothermal Spa for natural hot water swimming. This natural health spa is the largest in Africa and has health benefits to the skin and relaxing effect to the body. The water in the pool are naturally hot ranging between 30-40 degree centigrade.
3. Lunch at a restaurant and a boat ride coupled with history of the lake and its flora and fauna.
4. Visit to flower farm for a tour to experience how they are grown, harvested, packed and transported, from Monday to Friday only and requires prior scheduling with the farm (optional).
5. Drop off.
NB:
i. The charges for park entrance, spa swimming, and other costs incurred during the activity are not included in the fee.
ii. The charges incurred during the tour range between 80$ to 200$ depending on choice of activity (guests can choose activities to take past in).

1) We will meet at the mall Westlands outside naivas supermarket and proceed the market with taxi . we will visit a few fabric shops and shop fabric and you can also buy the kikoi, masaai shukas at wholesale prices and go to the tailor for ankara designs of your choice. You can either buy ready made clothes or you can also make more clothes, (both men and women, beddings and buy fabrics at wholesale price.
Having the tailor made clothes takes like 1 hour for simple designs

2) for those who want to braid hair, we will go to a cosmetic shop buy the hair extension of your choice and then go for the hair do which will take 2-3 hours
3) We will culminate our tour with a scrumptious lunch in a local restaurant(optional it's not inclusive)

Upon arrival, I will welcome you after which there will be some introductions. I will then briefly share my artistic journey and some of my artworks.

Rent a Kenyan Friend and Have an Adventure Together
This is a unique experience that I'm sure you'll enjoy. With your new Kenyan friend, you'll be able to explore 4 new locations. We'll first start by going to the Eye of Kenya, the first and only Ferris wheel in Kenya.
Then we'll move on to one of my favorite galleries. This gallery is exactly where you need to be to experience beautiful art and a peaceful ambiance. If you are interested in having a drink or a meal there is a restaurant for that.
Our next stop will be an artists' collective. It's a beautiful space with open studios, where you can see artists creating beautiful art pieces. You'll meet interesting people and be able to converse with them. Our final spot will be a restaurant generating the most interest at the time.
This experience will allow you to make a Kenyan friend and experience Nairobi in the eyes of a young Kenyan woman who loves art, animals, socializing, and great food. As we commute from one location to another I'll point out different places you can visit during your free time. I'll also recommend places you can visit outside of the area during your stay.
We'll get to know each other, share our stories and become more acquainted. You'll also become more acquainted with the city through my stories.
Lastly, get your taste buds ready because I'll have my favorite Kenyan snack and candy with me.
Hells Gate Excursion- A Walk on the Wildside
Named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries, the Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa.
Our adventure will begin with a pickup from your hotel/airport. We’ll then drive north across small bustling towns and the expansive great rift valley. Our first stop will be at the Great Rift Valley observation point. Here we’ll enjoy an excellent view of the rift valley floor.
We’ll then proceed with our journey towards the shores of Lake Naivasha where we’ll have our breakfast and then proceed to Hells gate, here the adventure begins. Upon arrival, we’ll do a bicycle safari enjoying the parks epic scenery. We’ll also spot wild animals on their day-to-day business. Our bike ride takes us to the Ol jorowa gorge where we’ll hike within the tall walls of the gorge, walking beside hot springs and water falls
After this epic hike, we’ll game drive back to Elsa gate after which we’ll drive to fisherman’s camp for a delicious lunch with a view of Lake Naivasha. This will be followed by a 1hour boat ride at lake Naivasha.
After an epic adventure, we’ll depart for Nairobi with a drop-off at your residence/airport.

Cooking and village tour with Naomy
First, I will pick you up from the main road in Ukunda. We will head together to the market to buy the ingridients and Together we will walk back through the streets of our village and will see what the real local life looks like. We will meet and mingle with it's people who are friendly, charming and optimistic!
After that, we will go home part by tuktuk and part by walking through the village not far from where I live and together we will prepare a real traditional Kenyan dish in my kitchen. Whether you are a beginner or advanced in cooking, this activity is very well rounded. After making the dish, we will lay down the table and enjoy the mouthwatering tastes of our hard work.
There two packages for you
1 The basic that entails 1 protein beef beans, 1 Carbohydrates ugali ,rice or chapati, 1 vitamins fruits or juice.
2 The big package that entails 2 proteins beef and lentils or chicken and beans, 2 carbohydrates rice and chapatti or chapatti and ugali , 2 vitamins juice, fruits and vegetables
This process takes a minimum of 2 hours but it can be more. Chapatti preparation takes a bit of time.
If you want to spend the night can also arrange a cheap homestay option.

Our tour will be on foot, and within the time stipulated, I will show you the beauty of Nairobi City.
We will visit all the monuments and historical buildings that remind Nairobi of the pre-independent period. I will explain the history behind each monument and building. (Pictures are allowed)
I will take you to the Masaai market where you'll find African handcrafted jewelry, African wear, African artifacts, and much more.
If you like to keep a piece of an artifact to remind you of the countries you have visited, here's where you'll get that.
You will have a beautiful view of Nairobi town from one of the tallest buildings.
I will recommend a restaurant for refreshments after the tour.
