The adjacent main house that we live in is 150 years old and was built by the Castex family who are buried in the village churchyard. The detached open-plan gîte is the original C18th farmhouse and the swimming pool sits within the walls of what was its barn. We are surrounded by orchards, fields of sunflowers, sweet corn and space to take either a short walk or a more ambitious ramble.
