You will be staying at Grammy's place: a quaint newly renovated ohana on the first floor of our home. We are a great first stop to rest up after arriving on the island or as a place to end your trip as we are just 7 min from the airport. We are only 15-30 minutes away from some of the most amazing beaches in the world! We are a large family with small children so we have found that we work best for people who are excited to be up and out exploring and adventuring during the day :)

Welcome to the Surf Hale! Our newly renovated, one bedroom Ohana sits at a 1200ft. elevation along Hualalai, just a short 15 minute drive from downtown Kona. We are just minutes from the airport as well as some of the most pristine beaches on Hawai'i Island. Here you get to experience Hawaii away from the hustle and bustle of resorts and overcrowded condominiums and stay where the locals live! Our neighborhood is lush, beautiful, and along a popular road for walking.

Serenity in Kona- with epic ocean views! Wake up with the ocean waves crashing below. Hang out on the lanai with some Kona coffee from the Green Flash cafe next door. You have a front row seat for whale watching during whale season. Or, hang out and enjoy the sunsets- at times with our local manta ray! We have a queen sofa bed, and AC. Close to town- an 18 minute walk. Quiet, very little road noise here. You can rent bikes too across the street.
