Join us for an action packed day exploring the forest of Lynn Canyon Park & the breathtaking valley of Pitt Meadows. We start the day with a leisurely hike through Lynn Canyon Park. Crossing the 50m high suspension bridge allows a panoramic view over the canyon, forest & raging waters below. Leaving the bridge, we enter into the ancient rain-forest and take a stroll beneath the towering trees above. We join the Baden Powell Trail and learn some interesting facts about the rain-forest and local ecosystem. Following the hike, we take the short drive out to Pitt Meadows. Here we enjoy a fresh and healthy lunch before we begin our bicycle ride along the beautiful dikes & farmland. Pitt Meadows is located in the lower Fraser valley, 50 km from downtown Vancouver & surrounded by the glorious mountains of Golden Ears & Pinecone Burke Provincial parks. The Trans Canada trail is the longest recreational trail in the world and spans the entire width of Canada. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Joffre Lakes is one of BC's most beautiful hikes and is relatively easy to access compared to other alpine lakes. You need to be an experienced hiker and in very good physical condition. The actual hike is 6 hrs return with another 6 hrs of transportation time from Vancouver. If you're brave enough, we'll also take a dip in the ice-cold glacier lakes :) Your 12 hour hiking tour is a picture-perfect way to experience Canada’s natural beauty and safely enjoy the outdoors. It includes pickup and drop off from your accommodation and a scenic drive on the Sea to Sky highway to Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. Details on what to wear and bring along for the tour will be provided, along with follow up questions testing your skill level. With 20+ years of hiking and photography experience, your guide will teach you to take photos while hiking. With small groups and plenty of one-on-one instruction, you’ll learn all about landscape photography and how to capture waterfalls, lakes, glaciers and forests. We will be exploring a trail along a local blueberry farm in Coquitlam / Port Coquitlam. The hike is 8 kilometers and can take up to 3 hours depending on our pace. The bears are hibernating until about April! But during late spring and summer, you might see black bears in the blueberry fields and sometimes they even cross the trail right in front of you. I've also seen all kinds of birds, including bald eagles, Kingfisher and blue herons. Turtles, deer, cougar, raccoon and coyotes live here too. I will take high quality professional pictures of my guests during the hike and share them online afterwards. As much as I want you to see wildlife, I cannot guarantee that we will see any animals. They are a bit unpredictable. After all, they are wild animals! I went on dozens of hikes and showed hundreds of guests the amazing beauty of my "backyard". Every hike is different and we see different animals and scenery. One thing is for sure: It is beautiful! Even in the rain and the scenery is amazing! My guests really like the hike. Read my 100+ great reviews. Other things to note I usually take pictures along the way and share them, but you should definitely bring your own camera. It might also become hot and there is no shade or trees to get cover. Come dressed accordingly.

On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. The boys can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!

Enjoy nature while learning to take breathtaking photos! The tour includes pickup and drop off and 2 hours of easy hiking (3 hours for 2+ guests). Lynn Canyon is a short trail that includes a suspension bridge in an old-growth rainforest, stunning waterfalls and amazing pools. The park is quieter and more diverse than the crowded Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. We'll also stop at Cleveland Dam. Whether you’re packing the latest and greatest DSLR unit or a camera phone, I will make sure you learn to take amazing photos. With small groups and plenty of one-on-one instruction, we'll learn how to take landscape photos including long exposures for waterfalls, macro shots for flowers, wide angle landscape and portrait shots. With 20+ years of hiking, guiding and photography experience, I will take you on a fun and a safe outing while learning a valuable skill. As a photographer I'll capture your memories, and send you complimentary photos at the end of our tour.
