Sitting in the shadow of the Beartooth mountains is our family cabin. The Cabin sits atop a bluff that overlooks the Westfork of the Stillwater river and next to a former art gallery. Riverfront access is a short walk down the bluff, with great trout fishing at your fingertips. Multiple national forest access points are a very short drive, that have great recreation opportunities and even better views. Wildlife sightings are a regular occurrence, but do watch for animals on the road.

Beartooth Mountains log house with trout stream

Four generations of our family have enjoyed this log house, nestled in the beautiful Stillwater River valley in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, surrounded by national forests. Rustic but updated, the cabin is comfortable for groups of 6-8 (two of the beds are singles and best for children), with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/dining area. Please keep in mind that this is an old mountain cabin. We've updated it to be comfortable but not intended to be luxurious.

Blue-Ribbon trout fishing. Secluded, but a short drive to hiking trails, the Nye Trading Post (convenience store/gas/post office), and Carter's Camp bar/restaurant. Please note: No smoking. The Pet Fee is $50 per pet. Please contact us in advance if more than one pet. Caretaker lives nearby.
