Let's get you ready for a day filled with awes and ahs!
Your adventure starts the minute I pick you up at your front door downtown Calgary, Canmore, or Banff!
You'll see wildlife, spectacular sites, hear fun stories, learn a bit of history, and maybe play a game or two. By the end of the day our group will feel like family!
Not only are you going to visit all the main sites including Kananaskis on the way to Banff, Lake Minnewanka, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake (summer months) but in addition you will visit many great hidden spots with million dollar views that avoid crowds!
We'll figure out the group's dynamic of who wants to do what or where, so we can get it done! If you like to hike, stroll along one of the beautiful lakes, sit down and relax, take postcard worthy photos, look for wildlife or do it all; it's possible!
I will adapt and adjust our stops according to traffic, weather, best times to see a place, etc. This experience is about wowing you all day!
This is not a touch & go tour, you'll have time to experience Banff!
And if you like; I'll be your personal photographer. So make sure to bring your phone chargers, the average person goes home with more than 100 photos!

Come experience the best possible mountain adventure during your visit!
Sailing Adventures in Howe Sound Fjord
Prepare yourself for an adventure that balances the thrill of sailing Howe Sound's legendary winds with the breathtaking views of the Coastal and Tantalus mountain ranges.
We will depart from the docks in Squamish (about 40 minutes north of Vancouver on the highway to Whistler) and raise the sails as we pass beneath the legendary Stawamus Chief granite monolith and Shannon Falls.
Regardless of expertise or ability, you will learn about sailing and experience unbounded excitement as the wind fills our sails and accelerates our 40' sailboat across the waters of Canada's southernmost fjord. Take a turn at the helm or grind a winch to trim sails - the more involved you become, the more fun you will have.
A dance of colourful kites await as we tack offshore in the afternoon's inflow winds. The same topographic phenomenon that makes the area perfect for sailing attracts kiteboarders from around the world.
We will explore the northern section of the Howe Sound fjord and promise many photo opportunities that will stand amongst the highlights of your trip.
With a little luck, we may even sight a pod of dolphins or Orcas!
Welcome aboard - let's have some fun.
Other things to note
We respect our oceans and try to minimize our environmental impact. Please choose aluminum containers for beverages instead of plastic or glass, and avoid the use of plastic bags and plastic wrap. Tx!
Denver's Top Guided Hiking Tour - Hiking in the Rockies
We are Denver local hiking enthusiasts who love to take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! We are the original Denver guided hiking tour. We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. We will customize the hike based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions.
We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take amazing photos (check out our insta @hikingintherockies) and send them to you at the end of the hike for memories that will last a lifetime. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail.
The guided hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car and we will return to the meeting spot at the end of the tour.
Whitewater Rafting; Splashes & Smiles
The White Salmon River flows through a collapsed lava tube coming off Mt. Adams, a designated Wild and Scenic area - it's stunning.
Expect to paddle several rapids, the size of the rapids and length of the trip changes with the seasons. Shorter trip length and larger rapids during high water spring time.
We'll meet at Northwestern Park just outside of White Salmon WA, across the river from from Hood River. It's an hour and a half from Portland in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We'll be rafting the White Salmon River, an estuary of the Columbia.
After introductions we'll outfit you with a wetsuit, wetsuit booties, helmet and personal floatation device. We'll then take a short van ride to the put in. After an informative river orientation talk we walk down a path to the river, the noise of the rapids ever growing as we descend!
Three hours later we'll be back at our cars; Photos of the trip as well as merchandise will be for sale. You may choose to bring a picnic and relax in the park after our trip or check out downtown White Salmon and Hood River.
I love this river and sharing the experience and I look forward to seeing you soon!
~Scott
Other things to note
Your experience may just be your group on a raft with your guide or some new friends may join!
Sometimes up to 7 rafts may go depending on who joins that day.
We go rain or shine, expect to get wet!
Enchanted forest hike, greatest hits, six parks & gardens
Here's Airbnb’s #1 "Best of Portland" forest hike and scenic tour - including Forest Park, the "top 10" Pittock Mansion, views of city/rivers/mountains, and the best of Washington Park, too. Walk our famous Wildwood Trail, hug the 242' tallest American city tree, enjoy babbling Balch creek gorge, wild birdsong, step in the Old Stone House, and snap selfies at the summit viewpoint overlooking Portland and Mt Hood. On clear days see 3 Cascade volcanos! ...and that's just the first half!
We continue downhill, over the elegant Walker footbridge for more glorious Wildwood trail steps thru Washington Park + Hoyt Arboretum, relax on the Redwood Forest deck benches, inspect exotic trees from around the world, and finish at our famous Japanese Garden and International Rose Test Garden complex (tour on your own if you wish).
This 5-mile hike with 900-foot vertical gain is perfect for fitness seekers, will last about 4 hours and can be tailored! Want a 2-hour version? ...at the top grab a Lyft/Uber and skip the 2nd half. Waste no precious vacation time: our trail's start/end are only 3 miles from Portland's center... the best starter experience for your visit!
Bring light layers for max comfort. It's a splendid hike in the rain, but bring a raincoat + hat/hood. Comfy walking / running shoes or light hikers are best for our unpaved forest trail. Portland’s #1 hike, since 2018!

Private Tour of Utah's Dinosaurs
We'll begin with an in-depth tour of our Past Worlds gallery and end with a behind-the-scenes visit inside our Paleo Lab. In the gallery, we will talk about dinosaurs found in Utah (some known exclusively from our own collections) and explore the ecosystems and adaptations that make these animals so fascinating. Inside the Paleo Lab, we will get a sneak peek at the projects that our paleontology volunteers are working on and learn about the techniques used to prepare our most recent discoveries.
The tour is for adults and teens 13 years or older. Teens 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum number of participants is 10. Admission is complementary with purchase of the experience. Admission fees cannot be deducted from the package price. Tour length is approximately 2 hours or so, depending on group discussions. Face masks are optional and not required.
Experience Glass Project
While visiting the artist's studio, you learn the process of blowing glass, and glass blowing techniques including taking a gather, marvering, blow'n-cap, and shaping glass. The workshop is very hands-on, focused on the process instead of the final product. With experienced glass artists, you make 2 to 3 small objects such as a paperweight, ornament/float, and/or drinking glass, to take home.
Glassblowing is a team work. We strongly recommend to experience this with another person. If you are solo, you may still book a spot. However, the single booker should expect to finish earlier.
Best to wear a cotton top and cotton pants. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. Please bring a pair of sunglasses and a face mask with you.
Be prepared to be hot and sweaty, and to have fun! BYOB if you like.
We can be flexible. Feel free to reach out to us to schedule a specific date and time or a private group if you don't see it on our calendar.
Other things to note...
Your pieces will be ready to be picked up in 24 hours. Shipping available with additional fee.

Bona Cupping - Coffee Tasting and Tour
Join the Bona Team for a Cupping class inside of Bona’s own Coffee Lab!
Along with the coffee tasting, you will also enjoy a tour of our Roastery. You’ll see green coffee seeds, different roast profiles, and our state-of-the-art coffee roaster machine.
Cupping is a standardized method to evaluate the quality and taste of coffee. The Specialty Coffee Association created a recommendation of standards to guide an accurate assessment of coffee all around the world. These standards are utilized throughout the entire Specialty Coffee industry ranging from the farmers in Brazil or Ethiopia to a barista in Denver or Europe. Specialty coffee is evaluated through a graded system that is based on a variety of factors including appearance, aroma, flavor, acidity, body, and aftertaste.
Our cupping experience will explain the different factors and qualities that are typically assessed and rated, but we will mostly focus on the taste & aroma of the beans on the table. Bona hosts these cuppings as an opportunity to share the unique tasting process of high quality coffee with everyone, no prior knowledge or experience is needed!
Enjoy tasting and evaluating a variety of coffee beans the same way the industry does!

Discover Portland By Bike Tour
The essential introduction to Portland. We’ll hop on well-traveled bike lanes stopping to admire the views of downtown, the river and the city’s many bridges. Then we ride along the waterfront past the brick and cast iron fronted buildings of Old Town built in the 19th and early 20th century.
Next our tour will head into Chinatown where the streets once teemed with immigrants from all over the world. From there we’ll roll through the Pearl District where turn-of-the-century warehouses have been turned into art galleries, shops, restaurants and condos.
We’ll pass Henry Weinhard’s 140 year old brewery before heading downtown. The tour cruises past a number of our favorite food carts before entering the South Park Blocks – separated from the North blocks by a century of legal battles. We’ll pedal through Oregon’s largest university then turn downhill to the waterfront and the Willamette River, lifeblood of the city and state.
Time permitting, we'll ride into some east side neighborhoods with food carts, gorgeous houses, rose gardens and vibrant shopping districts before crossing the river again.
Ebike upgrade, only $20! PLease note in your booking and we'll get you set up.
*In order to offer livable wages to our guides, if only 1 person books, a supplement of $20 will be charged upon arrival.
