Great view of Spencer Lake. Food is not gourmet, but hearty. I like their breakfasts. Steamer clams and their prime rib is good. Barstool bingo on Tuesday. You can watch sports there.

You can see a live glass blowing demo. Lots of things to do from there in Tacoma such as good restaurants and it's fund to go at night to see the lit up installations from the Museum of Glass. There is also a small zoo in Tacoma.

I'm not crazy about the selection at Walmart, so I'm not going to recommend it. There is a great season produce stand called S & S on the way to my house in the Deer Creek area that is really good.

Many places to go hiking. Stunning views whether you're going hiking or just to drive up to a visitor center. Get up early to get there before the long line forms with other visitors. You'll need to buy a park pass if you don't already have one.
