Large glass windows flood the space with sun and provide gorgeous views. The single-story cottage sleeps four in the two bedrooms and could accommodate more on the couch in the living room. The beautiful, coastal setting provides the perfect location for a quiet getaway.
A tiny guest house (400 sq ft) overlooking the Benjamin River estuary. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your private porch. Cozy living area with a smart tv (no cable-, but dvd's are available) and wifi. Kitchenette comes with Keurig, mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, 2 burner hot plate (no oven), dishes/pots and pans. Small loft available with cot, and pull out twin futon (accessible only by ladder).
Salt Pond Farmhouse is a charmingly preserved 1813 center-chimney, three-bedroom cape, on the Blue Hill Peninsula, about half way between the town of Blue Hill and Deer Isle, and about 40 minutes from Arcadia National Park. The back yard overlooks scenic Salt Pond and there is a path to our dock. Salt Pond is a long natural tidal pond that flows into Blue Hill Bay through the famous Blue Hill Reversing Falls. The pond is excellent for paddling and birding, depending on the tide.
