About a three minute walk down the lane from the house is a shared pier where my brother has caught rock fish as large as 33 inches!!! This cottage is the perfect get away for anyone interested in fishing, crabbing, kayaking, bird watching or just spending some a quiet time with nature. Into kayaking??? Bring it along because the intricate water ways are an amazing journey to travel through on a kayak. You can even circum navigate the island. There are several places near by to glide along and watch the egrets wading in the water. There is also a boat ramp just around the corner where you can take your own boat out. Or go on a charter with the local fisherman-a real treat you won’t find anywhere else.
