After, off-road drive at a height of 1400m / 4593f visiting the corycian cave, the 1st oracle since 4.000 b.c. not full excavated yet. Next stop will be at Thermopylae (hot gates) : *Battlefield view from the top of the Mountain *Ancient hot gates ^ Leonidas and 300 Spartans monument *Full detailed description of the battle. *Kolonos hill is the place where the last Spartan died protecting the dead body of King Leonidas . The Delphi museum and archaeological site is not allowed to be your guide but as we drive for 2 hours i will explain the myths and historical events in ancient Greece not only for Delphi but concerning religion, the immortality of the soul with the Eleusinian mysteries, the culture, and the sciences. The tour starts at the Roman Agora in front of the Gate of Athena Archegetis. After a brief historical introduction, we start walking uphill until reaching “Vrahakia”, a hidden viewpoint of Athens with stunning panoramic views at the Acropolis. I will give you some time to take all the pictures you want. After that, we’ll walk through the Plaka neighborhood and its famous “stairs-alleys”, full of bars and restaurants with live greek music. Next, we’ll have a short break at the “Tower of the Winds”, the world’s first weather station, built in the 2d century B.C. We will then exit Plaka and enter another neighborhood : Psirri. This is where locals go out. First we’ll pass the very photogenic “Little Kook” themed bar, then we’ll continue to Iroon Square, Psirri’s central square. In ancient Greek history, there was a deep bond between humans and animals. They became symbols, children's toys and played central roles in fairy tales. In mythology, human souls were trapped inside animals under the curse of the gods. Many ancient Greek artists used copper, marble, clay and gold to illustrate these minimal and, at the same time, perfect animal forms. As one of the admirers of this type of art, I would like to invite you on a journey to this magical world through the art of clay sculpture. The workshop will start with a brief reference to the animals and their symbolism in ancient Greece. Then, I will show you the way to create animal forms. You can eventually choose and make your own animal creature and take it back home. You can receive the creations after the end of the experience. The clay animal needs to dry 12-24hours. You are provided with a package (box) that includes the sculpture on a base plus a kit to complete it. So on the shelf of souvenirs (memories) from the country you visited you will have a complete sculpture of your own hands. Or post it to your home address (with an additional cost). The 2hours, workshop take place under the sacred rock of the Acropolis. Also two wonderful cats live together in the workshop. Once we’ve all gotten to know each other, we will talk about the menu and the steps for every recipe we are going to cook. You will learn how to cook a at least 5course meal to resemble a common Greek meal using the best local ingredients and following traditional family recipes, which we will all devour afterwards while talking, and drinking good Greek wine. To ensure all class participants learn the most important parts of the given menu, certain key techniques (such as making dough for pies from scratch) will be executed by all class participants so by the end of the class our guests will be able to recreate the full menu when they get back home. A sample menu includes a Greek pita, dolmades, a tzatziki, Greek salad, a main course (pastitsio or moussaka or gyros or chicken giouvetsi) and a dessert. Together we will explore the local market, it's the best place to start as we'll be collecting ingredients for our dishes. As we walk the halls and streets of the market district you'll learn all about the produce we are so proud of in Greece as well as meeting some of the traders and catching up on the local gossip... Now it's time to cook! This is a hands-on experience so we'll prep our food before getting on with the class. Your cook will guide you through the dishes, give you tips that could help improve your skills and tell you stories about what you're making, what's going on in Athens and of course, their thoughts on many other things in the world! You'll meet my old friends in the oldest vegetable, fish and meat market of Athens . I'll take you to the best greek traditional restaurant (mageirio) for a seated lunch and of course, you'll try a dessert. During the walk, you'll also try our best wines and distillates of the region. I'll explain to you how to cook all the dishes we'll try, I'll share local insights about recipes ,tips for Athens ,the islands and the culinary traditions. If you don’t find the dates you want, you can always ask me to make room. Think of your own idea and we will create it together, we can make either a ring, necklace, bracelet, pair of earrings or a small piece of art. Your idea/design should have the size of about 3x3cm or 1,180x 1,180 inch , weighting approx. 4.5 gram. If you wish to have a heavier piece I can advice you and negotiate it at the workshop (an extra gram equals to 1euro). Except of silver we can also use bronze and cooper, as these metals add colour to some particular ideas. Try to keep your idea simple and in 2 dimensions, so we can accomplish it in about 3 hours. If you are not so sure about what to create, you can choose any of my designs, or I can advice you. At first we will make a sketch and after we will transfer the design on the metal and cut it out with the saw. Then we will smoothen up the metal's surface with emery paper and at last we will polish it to shine it up. The piece is yours and you can call it "My Athenian keepsake" or "My unforgettable time in Athens". Making your own keepsake will give you the chance to learn in real the technical steps of it's creation.

First, as Athenians do, we will meet in Monastiraki Square in the city center. We'll grab a coffee and do a "volta" -- a leisurely walk through the city to give you a taste of what it's like to be a local! The walk will take about 1,5 hours. During it, I'll share with you my love for Athens -- the hidden paths, beautiful backstreets and hills, its living history, and some personal stories as well. I'll give you a glimpse of the modern Athenian lifestyle, where we hang out, where we eat, and most importantly where we cut loose. We'll end the "volta" at one of the best wine bars in Athens. There, we'll spend 1,5 hours more, and during that time we will do a brief introduction to Greek wine culture, as well as a short master class about wine tasting and food pairing. We'll taste four indigenous grape varieties, combined with a salad, cold cuts, and an assortment of Greek cheeses. This experience will give you a personal view of the city and its citizens and will introduce you to the art and science of tasting wine.
