Walking along Zadar`s streets the guide will show you the entire spectrum of monuments and hidden corners, taking you into the past more than 3000 years. By retelling the stories and legends you will feel the pulse of the town from the past and today`s everyday living. Best of all, you can be sure that our guides are not only professionally licensed, but also friendly locals who will enjoy showing you “the Pearl of the Adriatic”. • Traditional wooden boat tour
Starting from Fosa Harbour we will sail towards Osljak - the smallest inhabited island in Croatia, and spend some quality time on the island to enjoy the beauties and quietness of the island. After that we will head to island Galevac, small island with the 15th century Franciscan monestary which is only accesible by a small boat. Last but not least is island Ugljan with its beautifull beaches, coctails bars and fresh sea food restaurants. Depending on the weather conditions we also anchor the boat at the island bays for snorkling, swiming or just jumping from the boat. You will spend your time on a 8m Croatian traditional wooden boat that was built by my relatives in 1972. Your cruise will take place in Zadar canal-nearby island of Zadar. This is a great way to expirience the local islands and its bays where no big touristic ships can not access. This tour is made for up to 6 people; famillies, couples or friends. Do not expect luxury boat, its a 47 years "young" lady. She is steered old fashioned way so you are welcome to try if you wish. We reserve the right to cancel the expirience in case of: -bad weather -minimum number of participans not met -minimum 2 participans. Other things to note We reserve the right to cancel the expirience in case of: -bad weather -minimum number of participans not met (min 2 participans)

  • Friends, Romans, Communists- city tour
First we will meet by the Greeting to the Sun and the Sea organ and see these modern attractions of Zadar. Then we will walk along the promenade and discuss the historical aspects of Zadar on the Roman Forum. After this, we will talk about something that is often overlooked, but greatly influenced the city - communism. We will learn about brutalism- an architectural style typical of Yugoslavia. We discuss how Tito's partisans saved the city and how he became a cult of personality. We take a little break from communism and explore the medieval part of town, meandering around the episcopal center. We derail from a standard city tours and see the last monument to communism that remains in the city and go back to the story of Yugoslavia and life during that period. After a short discussion, we head down to the main square and continue to the five wells to learn how the city survived the Ottoman siege. Finally, we finish our tour in a park, overlooking the Land gate. Other things to note: We are going to walk on a flat surface most of the time, but we are doing about 50 or so steps during the course of our tour.

  • From Zadar to the nearby islands by boat
Starting from the City Bridge, we will take a panorama of the City Center. After that, we will sail towards to the nearby island Ugljan. There are some beautiful beaches on the island where we can stop for a swim. We can also visit some beautiful villages on the island Ugljan and small islands that surround the island Ugljan. There are some very special places, like Ošljak island (the smallest inhabited island in Croatia), sandy beach Jaz on the island Ugljan (with coffee bars, souvenirs and fresh sea food restaurants), island Galevac (small island with a 15th-century Franciscan monastery which is since 1959 only accessible by a small paddle boat). We will choose which places to visit, depending on the weather conditions. Your cruise will take place on the nearby island of Zadar and that it is a great way to experience the local islands and its bays where big tourist ships have no access. We reserve the right to cancel the experience: -in case of bad weather -minimum number of participants is not met (2) Other things to note: - the tour is made for maximum 10 people - our skippers will be at your disposal during the whole tour (they are well-trained, knowledgeable and communicative)

  • Zadar Boat Trip
Sailing - for this tour it takes twenty minutes to come to the islands. A short explanation of the Zadar City and archipelago from a local, while driving. Visit of the islands: Preko, Ošljak and Škojič for a three hour tour. Swimming - basically you can stop whenever you like and refresh from the sunny weather. Snorkeling - I have masks on the boat, but you can bring your own too. The bottom of the sea on these locations is amazing with different mesmerizing species to see.
