  • “Be a Local” Izakaya Hop Tour
Meet me in front of Starbucks in Tokyu Square (very close to many major sights of interests). We will go explore the biggest night town in Kanazawa! I will show you three different areas all loved by locals. Start from the crowded area and then go to the narrow streets where the real locals go. I will introduce you to a couple of izakaya bars which you would never find if you are by yourself!! I will help you communicate with the owner and other customers! And then I can make a few recommendations if you would like to try another place. Other things to note The price does not include food or drinks but I will introduce you to some of the local favorites that you can choose from! (Please pay for the guide's drink and food too. Normally about 1000 yen per bar)

  • Department store tour by local mother
If you are interested in the food culture or The Way of Tea in Kanazawa, I'm happy to share the video "a wedding ceremony in Japan/amazing food culture in Kanazawa" at my YouTube cannel. Please search for the words below↓. "The Way of Tea in Kanazawa" or "Airbnb Experience Kanazawa" You can also check them from the URL of my Instagram : tt.kanazawa I hope you enjoy them! ------------------ “M’za” is a department store and “Kuromon Koji” has souvenir shops located near Kanazawa station, just across from the famous “Omicyo- market”, and its basement has a colorful food market which is always my go-to. Now I have a passion to introduce the taste of local foods that you can get nimbly back in your hotel room, replace for outside dining, bring back as a souvenir, or just enjoy new things to see. On the basement floor, there are many kinds of foods: fresh seafood, salad bars, fruits, pickles, bakeries, Sushi and Tempura, Kabayaki and Yakitori, Tonkatsu and Okonomiyaki, Chinese food and Japanese sweets, or Sake, Wine, fresh veritable juice as well. You can also see tableware of local crafts upstairs. Of course I would share you whatever you want know concerned with Kanazawa. Let’s meet the entrance of “Kuromon Koji” which is right next to Starbucks. Why don't you take a stroll with me and find awesome stuff while sharing the culture in Kanazawa?

  • The Way of Tea in Kanazawa
If you are interested in The way of Tea or the culture in Kanazawa, I'm happy to share them in my YouTube cannel. Please search for the words below↓. "The Way of Tea in Kanazawa" or "Airbnb Experience Kanazawa" You can step into “Shoutouan” and enjoy the lesson surrounded by the Japanese garden and the unique architecture “Sukiyazukuri”. First of all, I would like to tell you the origin and history of Matcha, relationship to Zen, and about Sen no Rikyu, our first tea master. Then I would show you the most important spiritual four characters “Wa Kei Sei Jyaku” that he taught us and still alive in our time. Next, before demonstrating how to make the thin tea which process you can hardly see, I could tell you some basic manners as a guest. I hope you can find “Wa Kei Sei Jyaku” in every act I do, while you’re taking Japanese sweets and a bowl of green tea I serve you. It’s my pleasure to explain where they are, for sharing the very deep world of the Way of Tea with you. After all, you can enjoy to make your own tea and taste it. If you want to get valuable souvenirs (updated their photos here) selected from my favorite local supplier of utensils, please let me know when you apply this site. Airbnb would charge you an extra fee(¥5000) for it later. I truly hope this experience will be unforgettable and the souvenirs will remind you of the memories in beautiful Kanazawa.
