Basset Cottage is a pet friendly mid-terrace cottage in the village of Lanner, near the heart of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site.
On your doorstep is the Tresavean trail which is ideal for walking and cycling. Just up the road you can find Carn Marth, an ancient hill standing at 235m tall which offers spectacular views.
Centrally located on a well connected A road, many towns and beaches are easy to get to within a short drive, ideal for those wanting to explore all areas of Cornwall!

Classic miners cottage in heart of Cornwall
My place is good for couples and families (with kids). It is situated between the North and South coasts so a quick look out the window decides which way to go. Ideally positioned for walking the magnificent coastal path. It is in very easy reach of Helston, Falmouth and Truro. On the main bus route from Redruth to Falmouth so travel by bus, train or car is equally easy. Local amenities include a shop, pub and bakery.
