The journey will start with your expert guide at the Cosy and artsy Angoni Art Gallery in Maboneng, then we will continue with our journey until we view Johannesburg 360: While we share the tales and moments about our local history that influenced our yesterday, today and the day after tomorrow. Custom bomber jacket/ an African print clothing item experience - from concept to finished garment Explore and experience Johannesburg’s fashion district like never before. The Fashion Capital and the historical fashion square are located in the old Johannesburg city. The designer will walk with you to fabric shops in the inner city, where you will select a unique African print that you love from hundreds of options. You will then meet a member of his design team and have your measurements taken. You will collaborate with them on the creation of your custom jacket. The experience is paired with a photoshoot in the trendy neighbourhoods of Maboneng and Braamfontein, and a vlog video of the whole experience will be recorded and shared at the end (optional). 1. Choose a unique African print from one of our local fabric stores (fabric included). 2. Learn how to take body measurements for the making of clothing garments. 3. Cut the pattern and pieces for your custom bomber jacket or any other item made in African print (discuss with us via messages on the possibility) 4. Learn basic stitching and hand sewing in a practical lesson, while putting together your garment (expert studio assistants will guide you). 5. While you enjoy lunch, your bomber jacket will be completed by our assistants. 6. You'll star in a street photoshoot wearing your custom bomber jack

Well I should start off to say that this is a very special location for me. 1. It is the building that made me want to become an architect, 2. It is the place my parents got engaged, 3. It is my favorite spot in the city and probably even the world. We will be heading to the Union Buildings after stopping for the best Ice Cream in South Africa. We will head to the Union Buildings and after some brief talk about the history of the city and building we will settle in to watch the sunset over the city. The building is placed on the east-west axis so it gives the perfect lookout over the city and the perfect seat for the sunset. Make sure to pack your camera.

Walk through the city centre and feel the bustle and hustle of the people, lifestyle and culture of Johannesburg. Visit Nelson Mandela's Law firm and discover gems. Meeting in Market Theatre, in Newtown, then move on to the Workers Museum, the last surviving municipal compound for African men in Johannesburg. Continue to Chancellor House, where Nelson Mandela and OR Tambo set up South Africa’s first black-owned law firm. Uncover Main Street, which offers some of the best architectural buildings in the city. Main Street will lead us to Gandhi Square, a busy urban hub of commercial and retail activity. From there, move on to the Top of Africa, inside the tallest skyscraper on the continent (temporarily Closed, till further notice). We will take local transport to Maboneng, an art district dedicated to young entrepreneurs for a BBQ Local lunch (vegan, vegetarian friendly).

Our Johannesburg Nightlife Experience is An Experience that offers you the ability to really explore Joburg's nightlife with local people. Our hosts are Gio (male) and Tshego (female) , and you can see them in the pictures of the experience with their names written below the picture. The experience can be run by women only if some ladies feel more comfortable that way. The Experience takes you around Johannesburg's key party hubs from: Rosebank Greenside Parkhurst Melville Braamfontein Mabonang These areas are famous for different vibes in the city & are all unique and you will be exploring most of them with us on the night. Your host will be selecting the spaces to visit according to the vibe on the day you book& Your interests so it's important to reach out as soon as you make a booking so that such information may be communicated. The Experience is divided into three parts: Option 1 - ( 4 pm to 7 pm) -Sunset & Dinner (Optional once booking is made) Option 2 (7pm - 1am) - Bar/club Hopping through Johannesburg Option 3: (7pm to 11pm)-Dining experience - This is a family relaxed version of the nightlife experience accommodative of teens as well. We are wanting to educate and share our knowledge of the African Arts to Tourists, to get them excited and understand the history of the craftsmanship and artefacts that come from the tribes throughout Africa. We would offer a full 1hr tour and carefully curated talk through our gallery and museum, talking about the tribal cultures and artefacts we have on display, along with artwork from famous photographers and up-coming African artists. Everything is then available for purchase so it would be a full shopping experience.

Join me on a bicycle tour through the vibrant and historical streets of Soweto. We’ll cycle in Orlando East and Orlando West. We'll kick off our ride at my bicycle store called BOOK IBHONI which is located in Vilakazi Street. The street that's known for having two Nobel prize winners. During the tour, we'll explore key sites such as the Nelson Mandela house, Desmond Tutu's residence, the Hector Pieterson Museum and other attractions like the YMCA hall where Nelson Mandela trained his boxing, in Orlando East. We will also visit an adventure spot where people do bungee jumping, wall climbing, or free falling. For our lunch break, we'll enjoy a Kota, a unique street burger-like, made with a loaf of bread cut into quarters and filled with fries, mini sausages, cheese and a spicy salad. The Kota is our local favorite. Feel free to bring small bills for optional tips for the street performers at these stops. Tips are not compulsory. We do have safe parking if you are driving to us. The bicycle tour route is easy but a little bit hilly too.

Our Pan-African Cooking experience is an experience that will take you through a different number of African cuisines with a well know chef who is pure at heart and cooks not just to feed but to heal . We will be focusing on one country's famous meal and how the meal was derived...Africa has 54 countries and all countries eat differently and we will be preparing something combining a few countries. This experience was suggested by one of our guests who have come on our famous Taste of Africa food experience, they want to be able to make their own meals and understand the ingredients in the meals. The experience is inclusive of a conversation over nutrition and healthy eating, what most people call veganism, Our head chef is the instructor to the experience and will introduce a guest chef from a different country to make every experience different.

The township of Soweto, once a byword for oppression, had a major role in overturning apartheid. Cycle to Hector Pietersen Museum where the Soweto uprising transpired which was one of the turning points of apartheid. This tour will get you closer to all the highlights of Soweto. See the Mandela House, where Nelson Mandela lived from 1946 to 1962. Then, pass by Tutu House on Vilakazi Street, where Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his family once resided. Talk about the Nobel Laureate's contribution to apartheid's downfall in South Africa. Give your feet a break by stopping for lunch. Taste South African sandwiches called kota before cycling back to the starting point.

We’re an art studio in the art hub of Braamfontein , in the city Center . All participants receive their preferred drink on arrival and is introduced to the team & given an overview of the session . There is an option of canvas , ceramics or tote bags to paint . All painting materials are provided and participants need not bring anything . This is a unique souvenir to take back from Johannesburg that you can keep a lifetime . This experience is located by a red bus tour stop & is tourist friendly .
