This is a small group 2.5+ hour bike tour of 3 architecturally/historically significant neighborhoods in South Palm Springs, lead by either myself or my expert assistant guide, Tim. You'll be biking on quiet streets, no hills, constant sunshine, & very little traffic. All of which makes for a great ride for novices or expert cyclists alike. We’ll explore the neighborhoods of Deepwell Estates, Twin Palms, & Indian Canyons. We’ll see great examples of homes designed by Krisel, Wexler, Eichler, & built by the Alexander Construction Company. We'll also see the homes of some Hollywood celebrities. We’ll stop at specific homes to discuss their architectural & historical details, but you're encouraged to stop anywhere along the way to take photos. So, duration can vary, but it's usually about 2.5 hours. Please arrive a little early--we can wait 10 min for late guests. Please note: This tour is designed for serious architecture and history fans, with a lot of academic-level information and detail. It may not be the most enjoyable tour for some children.

They’ll wait for us to open their gate, and then these loving animals will show us the way. We’ll follow the herd at an easy pace into desert washes and onto boulders, where we’ll find beautiful spots to sit and chat—or simply gaze into the silence of the landscape, the gaping sky, and the goats enjoying themselves. We’ll walk about three miles and return with the goats after the sunset. Joshua tree is a powerful vortex of energy, that cannot be fully experienced unless you tap in to your power of meditation. I am offering an hour of meditation, breath work, sound healing and other relaxing techniques in the desert. As humans we are a microcosm of the macrocosm. This 2-hour experience allows each guest to pick from a variety of pre-made pots. Horsehair "Raku" during the experience uses a technique of applying horsehair, feathers, and/or sawdust to red hot pots. The carbon in these items transfer suddenly to the pot and are permanent. This method is eye-popping and amazing. Any age can do it. I recommend children be at least 10 and able to be respectful to other guests. I am sometimes a little corny, but very capable of sharing the How-To's, mixed with some history and other uses of clay. I am very good at coaching, and helping guest achieve a decorated raku pot that they are excited to take home. This is the kind of experience that will be fondly remembered for a lifetime.

We shall be offering the ancient practice of Meditation and Connection through Raw, Living Teas. We call this practice “Cha Dao” literally “The Way” Guests can expect to sit in silence for 2 or 3 bowls of Ancient Tea, some of which are 50 years old. And then further bowls in conversation. In Zen philosophy, Tea is the teacher of the heart, and invites one to connect with their own truth. A place of self acceptance, and self love. Guests are limited to 8 to keep the intimate nature of the practice flowing. Each guest is gently guided through the Meditation, drinking from a bowl provided for them, and them alone. A simple reminder in the vast possibilities contained in the empty vessel. Each session will last around 1-2 hours, depending on the guests willingness to explore.

We will connect with the spirit of cacao in a sacred ritual with the intention to open our hearts and connect to our higher selves. Upon arrival to our sacred space, you will be welcomed by Danny & Jael to settle in for your experience. We will start by talking about Cacao and the ceremony. We will then do an energy-release exercise followed by a sage cleansing. We will set our intention for the ceremony and open our sacred medicine space by calling on the elements. We will then proceed to ground ourselves by doing shamanic breathwork and flow into a sound healing journey. Once we come out of sound healing we will serve the Cacao. We will infuse the Cacao as a group with our love and drink together as a tribe. While drinking we will share and talk about our experiences. Afterward, we will have healthy snacks, do an oracle card reading, and proceed to close our sacred medicine circle. In these group healing circles the spirit of the Cacao takes us on a beautiful journey, where we open ourselves to connect with our heart, listen to it, and feel it, and in that deep connection, we open the door to healing and forgiveness. We're hosting a "safari style" tour of the beautiful wine country in Temecula Valley! Stunning vineyards, and boutique wineries are nestled into the hills of Temecula - and we want to take you to our favorites! We offer an open-air, safari Jeep experience to some of the coolest wineries in Temecula. You'll hop into our Jeep Gladiator, equipped with safari doors, a sound bar (for pumping your favorite tunes), and a roof rack for storing all your glamorous gear. We'll also have YETI coolers filled with extra hydration in case you get thirsty. Then we're off to explore! A full 3 hours of backroads, wine trails, and fantastic wineries. On our safari, we make 3 stops, and visit a selection of top-rated (yet surprisingly uncommon) wineries. You'll get to sample award-winning wines, and enjoy the incredible views that Temecula offers. During our tour, we’ll have a mini-photoshoot in one of the beautiful, Temecula Valley vineyards. Finally, we'll drop you off - along with a complementary bottle of one of our favorite local wines. There's no better way to experience the scenic views of the High-Desert than being up on the rocks. We provide customized rock climbing trips in Joshua Tree National Park from first time beginners to experienced climbers. Rick Picar or possibly Stephen Fredericks and Tiowa Reynolds will meet at Quail Springs Picnic Area BACK parking lot (by the BATHROOMS) in Joshua Tree National Park, where we will outfit you with a harness, helmet and rock climbing shoes. Your Guide, will provide you an overview of the trip then select a climbing location best suited to match your experience and ability. Once we are all done with that, we will stay at Quail Springs Picnic Area or caravan deeper into the Park. When we get to the climbing site, we will teach you how to belay a climber and manage the climbing rope. You will also learn safety checks and verbal commands used in rock climbing. Depending on the size of your group, we can add rappelling to your trip. When you book a rock climbing adventure, you will experience the world-class climbing in Joshua Tree National Park. Prepare yourself for fantastic climbing, great company and an awesome adventure! Other things to note Private Instruction: We do not mix groups! SCF's Coyote Creek Movie Ranch is a unique experience in its own right .In addition to trail ride, guests will be able to take photos and enjoy all of the amazing features of this one of a kind location. Will introduce guests to my friendly horses , provide treats they can feed horses, and help them get mounted up on most suitable horse for each rider, adjust stirrup length so they are comfortable, give them a quick lesson on how to communicate with their horse, and answer any questions they have. Will guide them on a full hour long ride on well established trails so they can experience desert views and wildlife. Will also take guest photos upon request out on the trail or posing with horses after returning from the ride.
