Our favourite beach, despite the steps. no amenities just beautiful ocean. This beach is our local surf break. Surfable 2 hours either side of low tide. Be careful with current etc as not lifeguarded.

This is the perfect family beach right on our doorstep. This beach at high tide is perfect for paddle boarding. perfect for all the family.
Grab a coffee from roos beach/hole in the wall or for great cake walk across the other side of the beach to Gwenva tearooms. Walk off the island and down beside the beach for a quiet dip.

We love newquay, it does get busy though. sometimes if you don't want to drive, take a walk across porth beach up the steps the other side and follow the coast path into town, in the evening theres great food to be eaten at the harbour lots of variety or a glass of something at fistral beach too.
