Guests will be transported from a centrally-located site in San Diego county to the international border in San Ysidro. With a Permit application already completed by host from information provided by guests, crossing the border will be cut from a potential 1 hour to about 10 minutes. Along with a brief historical account and cultural explanation, the experience will include a visit to the Friendship Park, a stroll through historic Revolucion street, as well as a the visit to several iconic areas of the city which will lead to a better understanding of its development. Visitors will also explore a colorful local market, where they will interact with local vendors, learn about, and have the opportunity to sample indigenous foods. The tour will conclude with a visit to a local food court where guests will have the opportunity to savor Tijuana's fusion cuisine, also known as Baja-Med. Finally, they will be driven to the international border, picked up and taken back to the original meeting location in San Diego. The host will escort guests the entire time. We will meet in North Pacific Beach in the morning or afternoon to talk about the surf conditions. Then we will walk down to the beach together. Next I will give a land lesson on the basics of surfing, we will practice different pop-up techniques so you're more comfortable in the water. Then we will go out into the water and I will help you get some waves and start surfing! Afterwards we'll carry the boards back to where we started. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. We're hosting a "safari style" tour of the beautiful wine country in Temecula Valley! Stunning vineyards, and boutique wineries are nestled into the hills of Temecula - and we want to take you to our favorites! We offer an open-air, safari Jeep experience to some of the coolest wineries in Temecula. You'll hop into our Jeep Gladiator, equipped with safari doors, a sound bar (for pumping your favorite tunes), and a roof rack for storing all your glamorous gear. We'll also have YETI coolers filled with extra hydration in case you get thirsty. Then we're off to explore! A full 3 hours of backroads, wine trails, and fantastic wineries. Update: We have been OPEN and SAFE since May, 2020 The La Jolla Ecological Reserve is the premiere kayak and snorkeling spot on California’s coast. To fully interact with all the amazing sea life in the area, our kayak and snorkel tour is a great option. The coolest part bout this experience is you get to see what's above and below the water! We kayak over by Sunny Jim's cave, where your guide will anchor the kayaks together. While snorkeling we see sea lions, seals, bat rays, Garibaldi (Nemo's Cousin), and sometimes sea turtles. Note: we cannot guarantee what sea life or any sea life we will encounter. La Jolla Bay is the premier snorkeling spot along Southern California's coast, but there are days that the visibility might only be 5 feet or can be as good as 50 feet. This tour is 2 hours and typically we snorkel for 20-30 minutes, max. Being able to swim is advised. If conditions are not safe enough to anchor the kayaks at Sunny's Jim's cave we will instead snorkel the kelp forest. Note: We DO NOT kayak or snorkel inside any of any caves on this tour. After a brief safety and snorkel etiquette talk, we will explore the area, including the caves (if conditions permit), for one hour. Since La Jolla Cove is part of a Marine Protected Area all natural things (animals, shells, etc.) must remain where they are found. I will point out and provide detailed information on the flora and fauna we encounter during the experience! You'll meet me early in the morning in Temecula wine country. We will transport you from our meeting site with free parking, restrooms, and access to coffee to our takeoff site. We complete a preflight safety briefing while our staff sets up the balloon equipment. Once standing, we'll open our basket doors and you'll board our hot air balloon. My staff will take pictures and then we will lift off for our flight. We've made several changes due to COVID-19 for your safety. We will fly over Temecula's gorgeous estates, vineyards, resorts, and orchards. We will see an abundance of wildlife surrounded by local lakes and mountains with distant ocean views. Our pilot will provide an entertaining and educational tour of the Temecula Valley, winemaking, and hot air ballooning. When we land, we'll provide you with champagne, juice, or mimosa toast along with individually wrapped breakfast items to enjoy.
