One of the most amazing places in our Santo Domingo city is the 3 eyes Caves National Park. Going deep into the authentic Dominican hood
Get to know the inside of an authentic Dominican neighborhood along with its music, it’s food and most importantly it’s people. This will include a guided tour telling the history of the places we will visit in English or Spanish, one ride in our cable car and metro system, access to a typical Dominican house, access to our natural pools and time for bath, boat ride which will take us to see the castle where Christopher Columbus’s son lived and three of his generation. We will also go underneath four of the most important bridges in Santo Domingo (note: the boat ride it’s for groups of 4 people and above) and one typical Dominican meal. We will have a good balance of learning and practices the dances. We will meet in Zona Colonial and visit a few of the iconic dance bars, clubs and discotechs. You will enjoy a friendly night full of dancing and fun. With an introduction to other dancers for you to practise with. I can teach salsa beginner and intermediate. And Bachata beginner. We'll visit the Indepence Park an important landmark commemorating the Dominican Republic’s struggle for independence. Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to explore local markets, filled with fruits, vegetables, grains, and spices, as well as the spices used in Dominican cuisine. Learn about how Spanish and Arab immigrants brought their influence to the island. Discover the african - spanish religious syncretism of the Dominican Voodoo. We'll learn about the Dominican handmade crafts used in the countryside lifestyle and walk through Little Haiti and China Town to explore the small, picturesque businesses. Sandboarding & snorkeling at the Dominican desert
Looking for things to do in Dominican Rpublic? Ready to explore the Dominican desert and its sand dunes, salt ponds and coral reefs? We depart at 6:30am (Pickup might start up to 30 minutes before), take a 2-hour road trip to Salinas, with some stops on the way. Our first stop is for an authentic Dominican breakfast at a local place. After that, we visit the sand dunes and spend some time learning about them, taking pictures, and of course, sandboarding. I'm not a certified instructor, we're just having fun. No experience required. After having fun at the dunes, we walk through the salt mines and its pink lakes, where we see the salt process and workers taking salt out of the lakes. Our last attraction is playa El Derrumbao, where we are going to do some snorkeling. To get there, we take a 20 minute walk (one way) under the hot sun. We walk into the beach with urchins and grab the goggles to watch the coral reefs and fish underwater. It's beautiful! Then, we walk back and change clothes by the car. There's no dressing room, Then we go back to the same local place for some authentic Dominican lunch. After lunch, we return to Santo Domingo, happy and tired at around 5pm. Fantastic Adventure to Hidden Waterfall and Historical Cave
Join us to visit this beautiful hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the entire Dominican Republic, Monte Plata. This is a 20-meter-high natural monument located in Bayaguana, where we will enjoy the clean air, the spectacular views, and the great flora that surrounds this wonderful waterfall. We will meet at 8:00 am at the meeting point, to go to the waterfall 50 minutes from Santo Domingo, enjoying the landscapes that the road gives us, while we have breakfast on board. Along the way, we will talk about the history of the island, beautiful places in the DR and get to know each other better. When we arrive at the Cascada, Doña Ramona will wait for us, who will cook our traditional Dominican lunch (al carbon), as they used to cook in the 1900's on our island. Once ready, we will walk for around 15 minutes and we will go into the jungle to reach the beautiful hidden waterfall. It is a steep path but not difficult to cross, (I recommend comfortable shoes to avoid falling) We will explore the waterfall, take photos in it, enjoy the water and the beauty of nature for about two and a half hours and then return to the starting point to enjoy our lunch, chat, rest, and then start out trip back to Santo Domingo stoping by un the three eyes cave learning about history and this fantastic place an beautiful nature monument, after that we gonna head to out meeting point.

Hiking DR's most impressive waterfall
Looking for things to do in Santo Domingo? Join me in this hike to the most impressive waterfall in DR'! Difficulty level: High. You must be in shape. (For a less challenging experience, book 'Hiking Tabernacle Thundering Waterfall'. You don't have to be in shape for that 1). LGBTQ+ friendly experience/vegetarian acommodating. Hotel pickup included in Santo Domingo. We depart at 6am (pickup might start 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights to get to a typical dominican breakfast. After breakfast, we begin our journey to La Culebra waterfall. It's a 5-hour journey total: we go uphill, then downhill to the creek. Then we hike/climb upstream to the waterfall and spend some time there. Then we go downstream to the top of a 27m high waterfall (Tabernacle waterfall, my other experience) and rappel it down. Then we keep going downstream through several waterholes until the end, with different options to get down. This is a strenuous route. If you're out of shape, don't book it. You must not have injuries. No rapel experience required After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. Let's meet at a local colmado (or coffee shop if you prefer) and get to know each other, I have found the best time starts when there is confidence so let's start with that, I will also share important information about Dominican Republic and the lifestyle. Now, let's walk towards La Tarazana! On the way we will stop at main attractions, the best bars to cool down, and other hidden gems. Main places that we will be visiting: - Santa Regina Church - Maraca Restaurant and bistro - Duarte Park - The Cathedral - Museum of Sugar and Cane rooftop - Fortaleza Ozama - La Tarazana - House of Rum Bar and museum I grew up in this area and is my favorite area of the city to party and hang out with friends / family so I know it well. I have lived in Mexico, France, Turkey, US and Switzerland so got lot of friends from different nationalities who have visited and loved the experience, always thanking me for being their guide and had a great time.
Dominican Culture Around the Fogón
We will walk throught the "Sendero del Eden" where we will see fruit trees, a beautifull cave named "La Cueva del Eden", here we will go into the Cave and observe the stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit our Fogón where we will grind cocoa, make casava like our ancestors and roast coffee. After that... We will take you to cave brujuela so you can swim under ground , a space with 15 meters below, with natural water, while you wait for the food to be prepared in the fogon. At the end we will have a surprise for everyone!!! To enjoy!!! Other things to note We will be outdoors, the caves are rocky so we must have safe closed shoes, sunscreen and repellent, we will use stairs, and we will have access to parking, bathroom and shower.

Conjuntamente con nuestro guia de la comunidad, conoce la interesante historia de la fundación del barrio, la vida cotidiana, como trabajan (mercaditos, tiendecitas, proyectos de peces), como se desarrollan en el aspecto social y como se divierten (Incluyendo unos bellísimos cenotes con aguas de manantial). Degusta algunas de las comidas populares más icónicas de la ciudad preparadas por expertos locales. Es una oportunidad también para conocer la realidad de los barrios marginados de República Dominicana escuchando y viendo algunos de sus problemas sociales y el cómo la comunidad se está empoderando para resolverlos de manera creativa, alegre y colaborativa. Verás todo esto, y tan solo caminaremos unos tres kilómetros y medio. Es un recorrido fácil, aunque en algunas pocas ocasiones puede ser demandante solo por una empinada colina que la haremos despacio y aprendiendo del lugar. Cuando regresemos, nos despediremos con una cerveza helada escuchando merengue, bachata y dembow junto a los locales.

En esta fantastica experiencia te daré un tours por los mejores bares de la zona colonial para que disfrutes de nuestra musica tropical, te enseñaré a tocar instrumentos de percusion tales como: Maracas, Cencerro y la clave. Intinerario: Nos encontraremos a las 8:30 pm en el Sarten y te regalaré un trago de bienvenida, el Sartén es un bar bohemio con una historia bellisima que contar donde las personas que lo frecuentan son de la tercera edad pero con un espíritu joven, alegre y vivaz; en este bar colocan los mejores Merengues, Salsas, Son y Bachatas para bailar. A las 9:15 pm iremos a Parada 77 un bar tan divertido como tú, con 22 años de trayectoria y donde podrás dejar una huella de tu paso por este pais, debido a que te permiten poner tu nombre en las paredes con creyón permanente y ese recuerdo quedará en la historia de ese lugar. A las 10:00 pm iremos al museo del ron dominicano, este bar es uno de los más recientes en la zona colonial pero con un diseño elegante, fresco y colonial que te dejará enamorado y querrás tomarte fotos para subirlas a tus redes sociales. Difficulty level: -Medium; when you're fit/water level is low (dry/cold season) -High; when you're not fit/water level is high (wet/hot season) It is completely doable in all scenarios. You must not have any injuries, don't need to be an athlete either! (If you want a more challenging experience, book 'Hiking DR's most impressive waterfall') LGBTQ+ friendly experience/vegetarian acommodating. Pickup included in Santo Domingo. We depart at 6am (pick up might start up to 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights of the mountains to get to the town where we are having a typical dominican breakfast. After breakfast, we begin our journey. It's a 3 to 4-hour route within hiking, swimming, climbing, etc. Swimming is mandatory (no need to know how to swim, you'll have a life vest). Water is cold. You can leave your bags in the car while hiking. After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. It is a steep path but not difficult to cross, (I recommend comfortable shoes to avoid falling) We will explore the waterfall, take photos in it, enjoy the water and the beauty of nature for about two and a half hours and then return to the starting point to enjoy our lunch, chat, rest, and then start out trip back to Santo Domingo stoping by un the three eyes cave learning about history and this fantastic place an beautiful nature monument, after that we gonna head to out meeting point.

This is an easy adventure ✅ Let’s know one of the most beautiful Rivers around San Cristobal Province full of natural pools and amazing panoramics views across the mountains, Rio Nizao Located in the community of Los Cacaos an small town in the countryside surrounded of wonders. Basically we are going to hike trough a river around 20 minutos to get the first natural pool, then the adventure starts swimming in natural pools through a river with clear emerald waters. (Don’t know how to swim, it doesn’t matter, life jackets are included). After that we are going to taste the flavors of local cuisine, the most popular dish: The Dominican Flag (Rice, Reed Beans & stew chiken) for Lunch in the community of Los Cacaos, can be lightly modified (vegan cases) Los Cacaos is a little farmer town, the growth their own food, and everything the use its organic, we are going to be in touch with great locals, this experience also help them improve their life quality. Hiking DR's most impressive waterfall
Looking for things to do in Santo Domingo? Join me in this hike to the most impressive waterfall in DR'! Difficulty level: High. You must be in shape. (For a less challenging experience, book 'Hiking Tabernacle Thundering Waterfall'. You don't have to be in shape for that 1). LGBTQ+ friendly experience/vegetarian acommodating. Hotel pickup included in Santo Domingo. We depart at 6am (pickup might start 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights to get to a typical dominican breakfast. After breakfast, we begin our journey to La Culebra waterfall. It's a 5-hour journey total: we go uphill, then downhill to the creek. Then we hike/climb upstream to the waterfall and spend some time there. Then we go downstream to the top of a 27m high waterfall (Tabernacle waterfall, my other experience) and rappel it down. Then we keep going downstream through several waterholes until the end, with different options to get down. This is a strenuous route. If you're out of shape, don't book it. You must not have injuries. No rapel experience required After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. Dominican Culture Around the Fogón
We will walk throught the "Sendero del Eden" where we will see fruit trees, a beautifull cave named "La Cueva del Eden", here we will go into the Cave and observe the stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit our Fogón where we will grind cocoa, make casava like our ancestors and roast coffee. After that... We will take you to cave brujuela so you can swim under ground , a space with 15 meters below, with natural water, while you wait for the food to be prepared in the fogon. At the end we will have a surprise for everyone!!! To enjoy!!! Other things to note We will be outdoors, the caves are rocky so we must have safe closed shoes, sunscreen and repellent, we will use stairs, and we will have access to parking, bathroom and shower.
