LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with people! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular bars and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks (5 or more different type of drinks) and you'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. We'll then go to the outer area known as the Tsukiji old market and Tsukiji Uogashi, a new building with fish-selling areas, including a background area, We'll drop in for fish while experiencing the authentic and dynamic atmosphere of a wholesale market. After taking some shopping time at the outer area, we'll purchase a variety of fish and head to Asakusa. We'll visit the popular Buddhist Sensō-ji temple before we go to my shop to prepare Kaisekistyle lunch--Traditional Japanese Cuisine--, Kaisen Donburi—sashimi rice bowls—with fresh seafood and more. After our meal, we'll have some surprise treats. Please note that the markets are lively and changing each day. Please arrive on time and be aware that the experience can run over time. Welcome to No.1 samurai experience in Tokyo! First you'll change the clothes into "kimono" and "hakama" is samurai style. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, over 3000 people joined. From families, couples to martial artists, various people touched and enjoyed the “real” samurai world! We will eat at 5-6 local food restaurants and shops that are popular among the locals. Most of them have a very long history and small family-owned businesses. Throughout the tour, you will taste a wide variety of Japanese food and experience our unique culture. Other things to note This tour is run by either me or my staff. Food is included in the price. Let us make a kimono(Kimono is a gift)
First of all, let's get to know each other with a simple self-introduction. 1. Choose your favorite antique kimono from over 300 types of kimono. (Kimonos are ranked in 4 levels. There are red stickers, blue stickers, green stickers, and yellow stickers. The price of this experience is the lowest rank red sticker kimono. On the day, You can also choose a different kimono (blue sticker +2000 yen ($15), green sticker +4000 yen ($30), yellow sticker +6000 yen ($45).) 2. Iron the hemming tape and put the loops through which the belt passes. Learn how to remake into a new kimono in various ways. 3. Coordinating the kimono you made with the easy-to-wear obi, obiage, and obi tightening. Wear it and take a photo. Other notes ・Men don't have a part called "ohashiyori" in their kimono. Therefore, men's kimonos cannot be remade to add length. For men, we have an experience to print the family crest and kanji of the name on kimono, haori, juban and make it into a jacket. ・There is an additional charge for purchasing a obi. I will explain about myself and share experience of travel many places by kayak. After telling the basics, it’s time to start paddling kayak by yourself. The course is mainly quiet and local residential area, so you will feel the real atmosphere of Tokyo. The attraction of kayak is paddling with only your power and feeling great sense of accomplishment after you arrived at destination. Please note that we serve our Wagyu primarily rare or medium rare to preserve its quality and do not offer well-done options. As our evening wraps up, we celebrate the fusion of world-class Japanese flavors and sake. We will take you to our favorite local best ①Japanese Tempura restaurant ② Izakaya, ③Temple and ④ Bar for 3 hours Every Monday’s bar will be hidden bar, every Tuesday to Sunday will be Karaoke bar. Maximum 7 people, guest can book other OTA, dates has different number by other booking. Asakusa is the most famous tourist place in Japan. There are many historical places, and has most famous temple (Senso-ji) in Japan, friendly good local restaurants, famous Izakaya street (Hoppy Alley) for local japanese people, and hidden bars. Asakusa is so beautiful spots, we will take amazing photos for you. If you have any food restrictions, there some food options. Other things to note: This is not include in Drinks and Foods. It’s depends on the guest what will eat and drink, which is why I can’t say correct how much you need but normally guest will pay about ¥5000-¥8000 for 3 places. To make this tour go smoothly, the host pay every place first. And, At the end, you will pay to the host about what you drink and eat , they will show your bills, please make sure.
