Tokyo live walk
First, we’ll visit the 300 year old Nezu shrine, which is my favorite shrine in Tokyo. I'll explain the history of the shrine and tell you some interesting stories about it. When you pass through the “100 red gate tunnel”, you’ll feel as if you were going back to the Edo era (17th to 19th century). Secondly, we’ll walk around the Yanaka area, a part of Ueno where many temples and fashionable old shops are located. We’ll visit some ancient temples and learn their history, and we’ll also drop into some downtown pretty shops which are my favorites, and eat snacks if you like! Ueno was one of the battlegrounds in the war that led to the Meiji Restoration in 1868. This conflict between the Shogunate and pro-Imperial forces resulted in the end of samurai society in Japan. I'll explain how the samurai changed their lives after the Meiji Restoration. This tour not only offers you an enjoyable culture walk but also tells you about the end of the samurai as well as giving you an insight into the lives and beliefs of the common people in the Edo period. Other things to note: ・Please be sure to wear your comfortable walking shoes. ※この体験は英語で開催されます。日本語をご希望の方は貸切にてお申し込みをお願いいたします
Sacred garden
First, we’ll visit Kichijyoji temple, which was an important center of learning in Edo (the old name for Tokyo) during the 17th century. I’ll explain the temple’s history and architecture and tell you some fascinating stories about it. Secondly,we’ll visit Fuji-jinjya shrine, which was enshrined on the top of a man-made hill which represents the mt.Fuji in the Edo period. Many people visited this artificial hill as if they felt like claiming up the real mt.Fuji, which has been cherished as a sacred mountain. Let’s claiming up this small mt.Fuji! Then we’d be able to feel what common people believed back then. Finally, we’ll walk to Rikugien – a beautiful 300-year-old garden which is my favorite place in Tokyo. I’ll explain the garden’s secrets and introduce you to ancient Japanese poetry (“waka"), which played an important part in the lives of samurai feudal lords and the nobility. This tour offers you a gateway into Japanese history and aesthetics. Together we’ll explore the roots of Japanese society and culture. ※この体験は英語で開催されます。日本語をご希望の方は貸切にてお申し込みをお願いいたします

Sushi-making Experience
There are various kinds of sushi, but we will make 5 kinds thi time (Nigiri sushi, Tamagyaki-sushi, winding winding, manual winding, fine winding). Generally there are two kinds of hand grips (kotegaeshi/tategaeshi). I will make sushi by this method. Becuase my shop is a shop that last 100 years, I have inherited the technology you will experienced it. Let's grab it in a sushi craftmanship. And let's make goals that sushi can be made even if yo return home! Let me eat lunch together because I also hold a sushi for you. And if there is something you want to know abot sushi, I will gladly answer. Other things to note There's nothing special to prepare. Please come with casual clothes.
