Virtually travel to rainforests across the globe and visit primates where they live and get a glimpse into their inner lives, including those of gorillas, chimpanzees, lemurs, marmosets, and many more. You'll find out what a primate really is and meet the world's smallest and largest primates, not to mention the strangest looking and the smelliest. You'll also listen to alarm calls and guess what the monkeys are trying to tell us. You'll also hear the heartwarming personal stories of Pavel, a marmoset at a sanctuary, and Brigitte, a lemur in Madagascar. Finally, you'll learn how to tell if a primate is happy or not and how you can help primates. Expect lots of laughs and interaction in this session that's both entertaining and educational. Three customized experiences that are perfect for: 1) PRIVATE GROUPS WITH CHILDREN (ages 7+): how to identify an Old World Monkey from a New World Monkey and a nocturnal primate from a diurnal one, + fun facts for kids. (45 minutes) 2) PRIVATE GROUPS FOR ADULTS: adapted to include adult content, including primates' love lives and what we can learn from them. We will go to famous and popular places in the city Center of Munich like the Nationaltheater area, Odeonsplatz, Siegestor, Englischer Garten, the Eisbach river and Monopteros. Übrigens: auch viele Münchner und Zuagroaste („neu Hinzugezogene“) nutzen die München Highlights Stadtrundfahrt um ihr Wissen aufzufrischen. Neugierig? Wir entdecken gemeinsam: die Residenz der Wittelsbacher, die „schönste“ Kirche Münchens, die Feldherrnhalle, das „Drückebergergasserl“, den Königsplatz, die Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, den Englischen Garten, die „Weißwurstallee“ u.v.m. Wir starten im Herzen der Stadt am Marienplatz. Hier gibt es auch die Leihräder zur Führung.

Given the current circumstances regarding Corona and the possibility of social distancing requirements, this tour can accommodate all regulatory demands. The city tour is naturally out doors and any shops or attractions shall be entered with appropriate face coverings. The museum we visit is closed to public for the duration of our tour, helping to ensure a relaxed and safe tour is experienced. Having been greeting with your first beer of the tour, we will take in many of the main sites including Marienplatz, the famous Hofbrauhaus and the food market, MaxJosefplatz, Maxamillianstr, all whilst talking about the significance beer has had on the lives of peoples through the ages. Munich's famous beer garden culture will be explained and lots of places for you to explore on your own at a later point will be highlighted. Then to the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum for a beer tasting and fresh baked Breztl (pretzel) followed by a tour through the museum itself(closed to the public during our tour), origins and significant developments of the Oktoberfest, refrigeration and beer marketing amongst a number of topics to be discussed, again...with a beer! Given the current circumstances dinner will be organised to suit the conditions to again ensure the safest possible experience. Other things to note We'll meet at the bottom of the Glockenspiel Tower of the new town hall on Marienplatz (the tower with the figures half way up) and go from there! Keep an eye on the weather forecast and if rain is predicted, perhaps bring an umbrella or waterproofs!
