BIOLUMINESCENCE KAYAK TOUR $126 per person The Bioluminescence Tour gives us a surreal experience. Living organisms produce light, causing the water to glow and sparkle like a cosmic mirror. Any motion in the ocean waters accents this offering, a dance of light as we paddle in darkness. In our experience a kayak tour offers the best way to experience this magic as we move through the night in silence, also motorboats can harm the plankton which are a keystone species for ocean health. Our focus is on safety and fun as we witness the ocean in a unique way that few have had the opportunity to enjoy. Our Trail Rides are in small private groups from 1 to 5 guests. We meet at the Maple Heart Ranch - Homestead. Depending on the riding experience of the guest, I pick the horse suitable for each guest. The guests will get, to brush and help saddle the horses and get them ready. I do help, where help is needed. This way the horse and the rider will get to know each other and can build a relationship. To start we spend 15 to 20 Minutes in the riding arena, to build up the confidence between rider and horse and get a introduction into riding a horse. After that we will ride to the Trans Canada Trail. The trail leads into old grow forest and along the Shawnigan Creek, different terrains and elevation makes it an interesting ride for beginners and experienced riders. We will be back around 1 pm. Where the guest can help to untack the horses and lead them back to the pasture.

This 2-hour walking tour begins at the Victoria Public Market and includes stops at The Harmonious Gates of Interest, Fan Tan Alley, Market Square, Bastion Square, Trounce Alley, Government St., the Inner Harbour Causeway, and Parliament Buildings. Depending on the day, there are 6 tastings along the route, as we discuss the history and quirks of beautiful Victoria, B.C. Tastings can include, pierogis, meatballs, craft beer chocolate, and much more! Other things to note Tours operate rain or shine. Guests should come prepared for all weather possibilities. Guests are to arrange their own transportation to starting location. Note the finish location is different than the start location. All guides are triple vaccinated.

Role playing games (RPG's) are interactive, cooperative games that use imagination, dice and other items to create a memorable story experience together. The stories are all original and a bonding experience with friends, family or co-workers. The café is dedicated to board game enjoyment. Hosted by Eric the Bald, in a local Arts Building studio near the heart of the city. Eric is a Master Storyteller who makes it easy for you to pick up and play, so you can get started right away, even if you have never tried RPG's before.

A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. The boys can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!

Day 1 We will go to your bareboat charter stay in the bay. Here you will offload your gear in a bay sheltered from most winds, your stay begins with a local fish market sampler of fresh seafood to BBQ. Amenities on-board the yacht will be explained along with your sleeping arrangements. You are left on-board at sea awaiting darkness and the glowing water phenomena begins. Explore the overhead Milky Way and phosphorescence in the ocean bay. Later on, nighttime board games, movies and snack. A furnace could provide warmth in the spring but slippers are suggested as its cool at low levels. There is a fully furnished kitchen essentials, bathroom, bedding and towels provided. We go over amenities of your bareboat charter. Go over ways to enjoy the oncoming dark night at sea. Bioluminesense, star gazing with an app to understand the heavens. Be on the lookout for seals, bears, deer, orcas and porpoises. You now will have the yacht to yourselves as a group. 2 bed locations provide a choice for where to sleep. Other things to note Remember you are glamping. Dress for swimming and cooler evening time on yacht. Take slippers as warmth onboard the yachtstay is cooler at foot level. Hot water is heated by propane burner for dishwashing use. Solar shower as shower hot water needs genset use and not recommended as noise scares. Day 2 Enjoy the overnight stay, then in the morning have complimentary coffee or tea, try some fishing, pull a crab trap, kayak to shore - hike - explore. Load up all the gear, set off from the yacht on a trip back to shore. View an eagles nest, oyster beaches, seal colony, learn about the oyster farms and some famous people vacation homes and we end up back at the boat launch. Other things to note In summary, you are dropped to your bareboat charter in a remote bay, above the stars shine and down below the waters shine with glowing phosphorescence. We will explore trails and go beyond the lush greenery. We will see everything you have never noticed before. I will show you how to look beyond the big trees, present you with all the plants growing around, explain our coastal ecosystems and teach you all about the elusive animals inhabiting our forests. This tour is interesting for the whole family and can be tailored to your group to please the youngest guest to the most experienced naturalist. If booking with toddlers, private tours are advised as they would not be able to do the whole trail and we could take an alternate route to accommodate strollers.

I will show you in practice the principles of sailing and give you the opportunity to participate in the handling of a 40-foot sailboat. Our trip will last for 5 hours, sailing by Cortes, Marina, and Mitlenatch Islands. Although the winds are always different, we will try to sail as much as possible for beauty and ecology. A vegetarian lunch, at anchor in a bay, composed of local, high-quality products will be a highlight. We will be paddling on the Tofino inlet fed by the Pacific Ocean. We are surrounded by coastal temperate rainforest and enjoy gentle flat waters of Clayoquot Sound, with views of Meares Island and Bedwell mountains! We might make stops through little islands and look for wildlife. We love to share what we know about the history and culture of Tofino as well as help you become a paddling pro! This tour is perfect for all levels of paddlers and skills will be taught to beginners, and more advanced tours are available for experienced paddlers. This is a unique opportunity to paddle in the undisturbed waters of Tofino, known to the locals as Tofino's secret backyard! Whatever the weather, it's an epic experience and we take care of everything and make sure you have a great time on the water! We start out with an introduction to boating safety, progress to docking and casting off from the dock and then off we go for a three or four hour sail in The Strait of Juan de Fuca or the Sooke Basin if there's too much wind in the Strait. You can participate and learn as much as you want in the sailing. We often see whales, sea lions, seals and sea otters while we are out there. You can bring snacks or we can have them catered by Road to Sooke Cafe at an extra cost. Other things to note If the tide is too low we may have to meet somewhere else but we will let you know in advance.

We will take pictures following Tofino's world renowned beaches and old growth forests. Including white sand beaches, boardwalks, and trees dating back before europeans ever stepped foot on these lands! Definitely one of the most photogenic places in Canada. As we're moving around, I'll capture portraits and moments for you to cherish for years to come. Don't know how to pose? No problem i do a mix of candid and posed shoots and i'm happy to walk through the basics with anyone.
