Before you come: We will try and contact you to size you for a wetsuit/board to help speed up the pre-lesson portion, and also give you an update on the conditions for your lesson. 20 minutes before the lesson: We will have you sign a waiver and get into your wetsuit. First 45min- hour of lesson: We will be on land and cover all of the basics, technique, and safety. The following 30-40 minutes: we'll be in the water together. I'll help you get into waves and give you instruction in the water to help you surf your first wave(s) The remaining time: you'll show what you've learned, We'll be a little more hands-off and either join you in the water or watch from the beach. (MALIBU, SANTA MONICA, VENICE) and its hidden treasures only a lifelong local would know. We will uncover natural wonders that most tourist never get a chance to see... (HIDDEN BEACHES, LUSH MOUNTAIN PEAKS, LEGENDARY CANYON ROADS, AND SECRET VIEWPOINTS) I will provide my extensive insight while uncovering these locations. We will stop wherever you feel that you'd like to take a picture, and I will act as your groups personal photographer! Start: the Guest will arrive at Bicycle storage facility in Venice Beach California where they will be greeted by myself or one of my other hosts. (Google our Theme Song "Sundays@Sunset" by MEI on Amazon) this will get you hyped and Pre set the Tone the Lyrics tell you everything you will experience. There you will get fitted to one of 15 LED Lit Bicycles and gifted a Venice Electric Light Parade Long Sleeve T as a Keepsake. Then we bike over to Venice Beach along abbot kinney blvd to our Sunset Bike Parade location where 100+ of my regular riders will be waiting for us. At that point when the Sun is setting they will be introduced and pictures taken with the local paraders in all of their magical outfits and Rad Personalized LED Bicycles. The Blue hour is when i start the LED Bicycle Parade as Tourist and locals alike take pictures i start the MUSIC and Blow the Whistle and we Start moving all Guest will ride behind myself and one of the regulars will ride behind them. We ride the Venice/Santa Monica bike path taking in the magical sights of both Beaches and the Santa Monica Pier all while listening to 80s and 90s Kid friendly music. The Parade takes us through Santa Monica back down to Venice down Abbot Kinney then the end of Venice Pier ending the parade at Hinanos Home of the Best Burger on the Westside. Your safety is our main priority that is why all of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surf Association), CPR and First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. Before every lesson I look at the surf forecast and make sure it is suitable for the group. We'll meet at the parking area, grab our gear and head out to the beach. The first 20 min we will spend practicing on the sand learning surf technique, then we'll get into the water and ride our first waves! You will be in the water with an instructor for the next hour and the remaining 30-40 min will be spent free surfing and practicing your skills on the equipment we provided you. We will focus on catching a variety of types of waves and giving you tricks and tips that will serve you well for surfing on your own. You'll also learn local surf culture and etiquette so that you stay on the right side of your fellow surfers. These lessons are taught by myself or our other expert instructors. Our lessons are small groups (max 4 students per instructor), which maintains a standard of quality. Expect to develop a foundation that will serve you well on your track to becoming a self sufficient surfer. Catch a wave, and you'll be hooked! Other things to note: -Please have your phone and Airbnb app handy so the group can communicate before the event -Please plan to arrive a bit early. The group will wait no more than 15 minutes for late guests

Day 1 - 8am We'll meet up at my house to pack the car and make sure we have everything for our trip. Then we'll head up the world famous Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu where we'll find some fun, secluded surf for the group. I've taught surf lessons up here for years and know all the best spots. I also specialize in teaching beginners but intermediates are welcome too. After surfing we'll drive up one of the most spectacular canyons in the Santa Monica Mountains. I'll take you on my favorite hike in the area to enjoy a picnic lunch. Next we'll head to our campsite. This is the real gem of the trip. I have access to private property with a jaw dropping view over the mountains and the ocean. To get there we drive the famous Mulholland highway ascending high up along the crest of the Santa Monica Mountains. When we pull into the property you get to see the vineyard and all the resident animals as we drive to the back of the property to our campsite. A short walk from the car takes us to a secluded area where you will feel like you're in a true wilderness. The sunset, sunrise, and views of the ocean and San Fernando Valley are beautiful here. We'll relax, cook dinner, star gaze and enjoy a night out in the wild. Other things to note Surf locations are subject to change. Day 2 - Drop off at 2pm We'll wake up in the morning to enjoy a backcountry breakfast and take in the beautiful mountain views. Then head back to the beach to work on our surf skills from yesterday. Depending on conditions we may go to a new surf break or stick with the same one from yesterday. By surfing two days in a row you get a great idea of the skills it takes to become a confident surfer.

Then, we will pass Manhattan Beach where the beach seems to rise up from the sea out of nowhere providing for some of the most spectacular photos of shimmering sea and sands and a playground for dolphins off the boat!. You can relax and unwind from your daily grind and enjoy an amazing perspective with nature aboard a luxury Sailing Yacht with like minded people. No experience required but you can learn how to set sails and steer with the wind! Typically we see Dolphins and occasionally whales along our journey. A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! We will enjoy a nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. This experience is great for groups and great for teams! We love to host private and corporate groups, and socializing with the dogs is great for team-building! Other things to note: We will be in direct sun, so bring sunscreen and other protective wear. There are no bathrooms in Runyon Canyon. Your friendly dog is welcome to join us! Street parking is very difficult.

There is a minimum of 2 guests. In the event of rain or strong wind, we can agree on rescheduling the event for a different day. Make sure to check messages on the day of the event. We charge a rate of $50/h for extra time. Enjoy wine and charcuterie board with a selection of meat, cheeses and fruit while cruising in a fully electric Duffy boat. We will start from the dock where the boat is parked and make our way towards the main channel of beautiful Marina del Rey marina. Keep your eyes peeled for sea lions and a variety of birds as you explore the surrounding. Get a closer look at the boat houses and luxury yachts parked along the way. This experience is a perfect way to relax with a glass of wine in a peaceful water realm and maybe even make new friends with fellow travellers.

This lesson is perfect for you if you have never surfed before or if you are a beginner/intermediate surfer looking to advance your skills. My main goal is for you to have an excellent experience surfing and get the knowledge and emotions that will stay with you forever! The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6 people. Your safety is our main priority that is why all of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surf Association), CPR and First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. Your lesson will consist of two parts. For the first 20-30 minutes you’ll be training on the beach, then it’s about 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun. Surfboards and wetsuits are provided and included in the price. We don't use 'one size fits all' Wavestorm boards - we offer custom boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs. You will also have an option to store your belongings and valuables locked in our cool surf bus. We'll start in Venice-the #1 tourist destination in California, to catch a glimpse of surfers, sailboats, canals and then the posh shops and art galleries of Abbot Kinney-aptly named the hippest street in America by GQ Magazine. Then it’s off to Muscle Beach, Dogtown’s skateboard park, rollerskaters and famous basketball courts-along the way see artists in action at the graffiti wall, murals, old brothels, speakeasies, movie studios, secret walk-streets and street performers on one of the top ten boardwalks in the US-from Rastafarians at the drum circle to chain-saw jugglers, fire-breathers, guys walking on glass, break dancers, acrobats, and hear about local legends Charlie Chaplin, Jim Morrison and Arnold Schwarzennegger-it offers an unforgettable cultural experience! Then we head to Santa Monica’s Original Muscle Beach, the pier’s ferris Wheel and famous Route 66 sign, stories of local celebrities, the bourgeois Promenade shops, musical performances, historical landmarks, amazing architecture, hidden gems, fruit trees and gardens at Tongva Park-there will be great photo opportunities at each stop! We will be bicycling for approximately 2 - 2.5 hours depending on everyone's pace and I have speakers so that everyone can hear in the back.
