Please fully read the description. I want to show you not the usual spots like Mondello, but very beautiful places I love. 3 amazing spots: 2 seaside bays and 1 river spot. We'll move along the North coast close to the town of Terrasini, snorkeling, relaxing and discovering the Mediterranean environment. The spots are rather ROCKY with a very clean blue and turquoise water. To finish the day we'll go to explore some natural hot springs along a river, relaxing in the warm water. This tour will be the best way to discover and enjoy the Sicily's seaside. It's up to the host (and conditions) to start the tour visiting a nice sandy beach. Lunch is around 1.30 p.m. with the possibility to eat traditional pasta with fresh fish, street food or ice cream (lunch not included). The time schedule is very elastic, according to needs and expectations, but it's also a RESPONSABILITY of each guest to be able to visit all the spots planned. In each spot WE'LL WALK to reach the spot and to return back at the car. On a typical lesson day we meet in the morning at one of Palermo’s oldest markets, shop around for any items we will need for the lesson and then stroll to the air-conditioned kitchen in The Sicilian Pantry cookery school where we prepare a 4 course Sicilian meal, learning the techniques and tricks needed to recreate it when you return home. Meals are made up of a starter, pasta course, main course and desert (changes can be made for individuals with specific dietary requirements where appropriate). After the lesson we can sit down together to enjoy the fruits of our labour along with a selection of Sicilian wines rounded off with some homemade liqueurs and coffee. We believe that the true expression of Sicilian cuisine comes from the quality of its fresh seasonal produce so we strive to always ensure that we have the best of what Sicily has to offer in order to share this with our guests. This is an entertaining and informative day out, recommended for cooks of all levels. The MORNING GROUP WALKING TOUR of Palermo lasts 3 hours. My group tour is not just a food tour, but it's a mix of history, culture, architecture, monuments and street food. The MORNING GROUP WALKING TOUR starts at 9.30 am, with me or with my team of official Tour Guides and we will walk for about 4 km. In the first part of the Walking Tour we will visit monuments and churches and in the second part of the Walking Tour we will explore the big outdoor food market and we will eat the famous street food of Palermo (food included, no fish). At the end of the tour I will give you many suggestions of what you can do on your own in Palermo. You will understand Palermo and its old history! This group tour is for 15 people maximum (not suggested for little children under 7 years old, the group tour is in english). Other things to note: Street food tastings like arancini, focaccia, fresh juice, cannoli, etc (it’s like a lunch! food included, no fish) and entrances fees in the churches that we will visit are included. Sometimes a small detail, that seems unsignificant at first glance, has a story behind it that is worth to be told. An example: Addiopizzo stickers on the shops windows we will see along the walking tour. They belongs to shopkeepers who have said NO to the protection money! You will also have the chance to support them, just buying a gelato, some local products or a souvenir of Palermo. We’ll discover the architecturally-impressive Piazza Bellini e Piazza Pretoria, with outstanding examples of Arabic, Norman, Byzantine and Spanish art. Then we’ll ride across the main ancient “Cassaro” street, visiting the outstanding square of San Francesco, the impressive “Piazza Marina” with its giant ficus trees and the massif “Steri palace” that once housed the Spanish Inquisition. We’ll gain the charming tourist port of the “Cala” and then the spectacular expanse of greenery called “Foro Italico”, admiring beautiful seafront buildings and the unique view over the coast of Palermo. We’ll end up this tour with a taste of our unique traditional street food (arancini, panelle, milza, etc.) and then we’ll return the bikes at our drop-off point at Discesa dei Giudici. Architetture, vicoli, strade, mercati, folklore saranno il tema portante della passeggiata che sarà via via un crescendo di emozioni. I miei ospiti si sentiranno a loro agio in una città che fa dell'ospitalità il suo biglietto da visita. La Nostra Escursione Giornaliera comincia alle dieci del mattino con l'appuntamento al molo presso la marina Salpancore in via Cala a Palermo, dopo un piccolo succo di benvenuto, cominceremo la navigazione in direzione del golfo di Mondello. Usciti dal porto alzeremo le vele ed il comandante vi darà le nozioni base della vela. Durante la navigazione quasi alle falde di Monte Pellegrino vicino il porto dell'Acquasanta, gli ospiti potranno vivere un'esperienza unica ed ammirare le nostre meravigliose coste. Giunti in rada nel mare cristallino, vicino alla riserva di Capo Gallo, gli ospiti potranno fare il bagno e poi degustare le nostre pietanze culinarie locali preparate dal cuoco di bordo. Dopo un pò di relax si salperà per il rientro al pontile. Durante la nostra esperienza sarà possibile pescare a traina grazie all'attrezzatura di bordo. Altre cose da tenere a mente Nel caso in cui le condizioni meteo marine sono avverse l escursione verrà se possibile rimandata a data da destinarsi o totalmente rimborsata.

Salperemo alle 10.00 dal Porto di Palermo a bordo di una lussuosa barca a motore con destinazione la Baia di Mondello. Qui potrete fare il bagno nelle splendide acque turchesi, scendere in spiaggia con il tender, prendere la tintarella sotto il sole o cullarsi all'ombra dei divani comodamente sdraiati in barca. Alle 13,00, per chi vorrà, ci sarà un corso sul tema "cucinare gli spaghetti" con degustazione a pranzo del cibo cucinato oltre antipasti di pesce, frutta e caffè completeranno il pranzo di bordo. Alle 17.00 verrà offerto un gelato artigianale agli agrumi di Sicilia, preparato a bordo. Alle 18.30 rientreremo in porto dopo aver costeggiato la costa Palermitana e illustrato alcune delle dimore appartenute alla celebre famiglia Florio - tra cui Villa Igea, la tonnara, casa 4 pizzi
