You may bike around the neighborhood, to the beach and surrounding areas. However you will need a car for transportation.

The nearest car rentals are going to be in Naples or in Fort Myers, where the international airport is. This is one of the better ones with a good rating.

We recommend that you rent your car at the Southwest Florida Airport when you arrive. There are other providers but this is our best recommendation.
