Dopo un breve scambio conoscitivo e un piccolo aperitivo di benvenuto, cucineremo insieme un menù tipico genovese (un antipasto, un primo piatto di pasta, un secondo e un dolce) e vi racconterò un po' di storia e di curiosità sulla cucina ligure e sulle sue tradizioni Mangeremo poi quanto cucinato con la mia famiglia (e' compresa acqua illimitata e una bottiglia di vino ogni due ospiti!) Condivido molto volentieri ciò che ho imparato da mia mamma, mia suocera e dai corsi di cucina che ho frequentato: non sono uno chef professionista!!!

We will leave from the pier in Monterosso at about 10 a.m. You’ll get to admire the colorful five seaside villages from the sea, while we will tell you all about the history, the geographical and cultural curiosities that characterize this region. Meanwhile you’ll enjoy a delicious aperitif with focaccia, pesto and other typical local products, sipping prosecco and listening to music or simply to the sweet sea lapping. We will discover beautiful coves and dive to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the National Park. After a short glide we will stop in Porto Venere for you to discover this amazing village described by Lord Byron, Shelley, George Sand and other great poets. We will also visit the suggestive Church of San Pietro, an ancient temple with a stunning view on the coastline. In the low season, not too chaotic and sultry, we'll also stop for a visit to the quaint village of Vernazza, or we will finish the tour enjoying the local crystal clear sea once more. We'll meet you in the harbor in Riomaggiore and depart on our magical sunset tour. We'll slowly make our way up the Cinque Terre coast, stopping in front of each village to give you a little bit of history and insider information, as well as the opportunity to take photos of the villages from the sea - hands down the best way to capture each village's beauty. Once we reach Monterosso we'll turn around, and with the sun setting behind us, we'll slowly head back to Riomaggiore. You'll sip bubbles while cruising. Yuri is a local wine expert and has his own vineyards, so he's able to provide you with information about how grapes are grown on our cliffs, and what makes the Cinque Terre wine which you'll be drinking so unique. You'll also be munching on homemade focaccia from the local baker, made fresh daily, and a must-try food while in the Cinque Terre. You can jump in the sea during the tour as well for a sunset dip. Take a deep breath - this is paradise. Let us make your night, and maybe even your holiday here in the Cinque Terre, a lifelong memory, and show you 'La dolce vita. Superb hand-made traditional cuisine, whose simple yet precious secrets will be shared in a friendly, homely environment facing the Gulf of Poets. You will have what I had when I was a child at my home: a full immersion experience in the authentic Italian cuisine. Specifically, we will travel together back and forth from Liguria and Campania discovering traditional recepies, made of selected, genuine and local ingredients (and there will be much more than Pesto and tiramisù!). Handmade pasta, cakes, savory pie all easy recipes that you may do again at your home. I like to cook seasonal foods and I love to take fresh vegetables from the local marcket.. We’ll learn how to transform those ingredients in delicious dishes. The cooking lesson will be paired with complementary Italian wine and home-made spirits, which will make your experience unforgettable(!). The tour start from the little dock of Manarola, at the same dock from where the ferries to Cinque Terre depart aboard an 8-meter open boat. It runs along the 5 villages from Manarola towards Monterosso. Arriving at Guvano beach, behind Corniglia, we stop for the first swim break; with snorkeling equipment you can admire the clear waters and the local fish. It starts again with a panoramic view of the coast and all the various types of sedimentary rocks, explanations on the paths and the type of wine produced, another swim stop after the view of the seaside village of Vernazza to then reach the last of the 5 lands, Monterosso. After the view of the village and the beaches, the route is reversed to return to Riomaggiore, another swim stop one mile from the coast, drinking good prosecco, waiting for the sunset to then return to Manarola

In questa lezione di cucina imparerai a cucinare uno dei piatti più tipici della tradizione ligure partendo da zero: naturalmente sto parlando della pasta al pesto! Impasteremo pasta fresca di diverso tipo: corzetti,trenette,gnocchi,testaroli o trofie, utilizzando utensili tradizionali ed impareremo le tecniche per modellarla. Dopodiché prepareremo il famoso pesto con gli ingredienti autentici, ovviamente con l'uso di mortaio e pestello! Ti accoglieremo con un aperitivo/spuntino di benvenuto nella nostra meravigliosa location, un giardino fiorito a due passi dalla stazione di Genova Piazza Principe e una volta preparato il nostro piatto pranzeremo insieme.

Arriveremo a Portovenere, la perla del nostro Golfo. Qui potrete scendere e visitare la città senza fretta. Al termine, rientreremo verso La Spezia. A Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour is the most romantic and scenic tour you can experience when visiting the area! We will leave from the pier in Monterosso, you’ll get to admire the colorful five seaside villages from the sea, while we will tell you everything about local history and daily life. Benvenuti nella nostra esperienza! Con i due capitani Steeven e Christian partiremo dalla marina di Riomaggiore per andare al seguente villaggio Manarola e far salire a bordo i nostri altri amici per poi proseguire (soffermandosi in ogni villaggio dal mare,  per fare tante belle foto,  tutto questo sempre vicino alla costa), proseguiremo  verso Corniglia, unico villaggio che si trova a 100 metri dal livello del mare, visiteremo delle grotte accessibili solo dal mare ,faremo una o due soste per nuotare e fare dello snorkeling insieme ai pesci ,a bordo ti offriremo del vino bianco, prosecco ,coca-cola birra o acqua e degli snack come la focaccia ligure. arriveremo a Vernazza uno dei villaggi più amati dai turisti, e infine arriveremo a Monterosso, il villaggio più grande, ed ammireremo le sue spiagge. Ci allontaneremo dalla costa per ammirare il sole che tramonta e torneremo  indietro con calma.Al termine del tour sarà possibile scendere a Manarola o Riomaggiore.

Let's have fun cooking together! Come and learn how to prepare some typical dishes of the Genoese tradition. I will accompany you by telling you the story of the dishes we will cook. After immersing ourselves in the preparation of the dishes, we will have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea, sipping Italian red wine. At the end of the experience, you will receive your recipe booklet and if you wish, some of the food we have prepared. During the class you will learn how to prepare authentic Ligurian food. We will prepare the doughs, the filling and I’ll share some tips with you. At the end we will eat together what we prepared: Focaccia,, Torta Cappuccina (a vegetable pie), Pansoti (Ligurian ravioli filled with a cheese similar to ricotta and borage) and of course Salsa di Noci (walnut sauce). If you want we can even decide to prepare alternative dishes in advance (at least one week before the lesson). For intolerances and allergies, we inform you that the following products/ingredients will be used: Milk and milk-based products Nuts Egg Flour Garlic Sweet beets Borage Extra virgin olive oil Bread

Our 3 hour tour is the perfect and complete way to see the Cinque Terre! Departing from our charming marina in Riomaggiore, you'll immediately see that this tour is a photographer's dream. Aboard our beautiful wooden gozzo, visit the Cinque Terre and get the best views of the villages from the sea (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso). On our way back, you'll have an opportunity for a refreshing swim in front of Vernazza, at secluded Guvano Beach, before returning back in the marina in Riomaggiore.
