proud member of Peguis First Nation, Christa has spent nearly 20 years refining her cooking skills and expanding her knowledge of Indigenous foods. We harvest, cook, and eat with good intention. We pay respect to the plants and animals that give themselves to nourish our bodies. As we eat together, we honour our connections, preserve our history, and share our stories. We are fed in mind, body, and spirit.

An Indigenous-owned and operated restaurant just a block away from Furby. They serve prairie delicacies like pickerel and bison.
Indigenous-owned cafe, focus on traditional First Nations foods (bison chili, bison burgers, bannock, etc.)
An indigenous run restaurant which takes traditional foods of the land and presents them in new ways. The food is excellent and the people friendly. Friday and Saturday nights feature bison ribs in a local berry sauce that is so good they sometimes sell out. Nice place for dinner before taking in a live music show across the street at the West End Cultural Centre.
