One of the better beaches in Santa Barbara and the only beach that allows off-leash dogs (only on half of the beach - to the left when you arrive). Stop at the Boathouse here for a drink and a beautiful view.

A nice beach for a walk and there is a good restaurant there too called The Boathouse. Good for watching the sunset!

Arroyo Burro Beach might be what the guidebooks and websites say, but locals know this beach by another name: Hendry's. This is THE place to go if you have a dog. The whole beach welcomes our four-legged friends, but the left side of the beach allows pups to chill out off leash. There is also a picnic area, restroom and an amazing seafood restaurant called The Boathouse onsite. Two small lots offer 100% free parking, but they do fill up fast - especially on weekends.

Also called by locals, "Hendry's" beach. As you arrive to the beach, dogs are allowed off-leash walking to the left. Walk to the right to enjoy the beach with no doggies. There are showers to rinse off, public bathroom, and an excellent restaurant called the "Boathouse". Try their happy hour, and a sunset walk for a great experience!

The locals call this beach Hendrys.. Walk for miles in either direction. To the right towards Hope Ranch is my favorite. Great restaurant there too called the Boathouse.
