Sadengan is a savanna field which is only 2 km from the entrance of Alas Purwo National Park. Sadengan has an area of 84 hectares, where you will be treated to views of African style. At this location, you can find a herd of cows, bulls, deer, and if you are lucky you see a flock of peacocks. You are not allowed to enter the savannah without a guide, therefore in Sadengan a tower of view is built. The wooden tower consists of three floors, and has a function to observe the life of wild animals in the savannah. Only officers can enter this savanna. If you have a hobby of photography and want to photograph wildlife habitat up close, ask the officer to take you into the savanna area.
