Our unique beach is in a protected area which ensures that it is natural, unspoiled and beautiful. The shallow shelf of the Port Royal Sound slows down the tidal current and is calmer than the crashing waves at other beaches on the island. It is perfect for small children to play in while they collect shells and those who don't care for large strong waves. If you want the bigger waves to surf or play in, there are several nice beaches along the open shore line very close by. The beautiful "all natural" beach is in a nature preserve and bird sanctuary, offering a wide variety of wildlife to watch and enjoy. It is very quiet and peaceful and the water is not strong at all. The nature is just unbelievable and the solitude is amazing and humbling. Very peaceful and mind easing.
