Extending far into the deep water of Tolaga Bay, this wharf is a legendary place to dangle a fishing line. Allow half an hour to walk to the end of the wharf.
An invigorating 30 min scenic walk to the end of New Zealand's longest wharf . 660 metres in length and built in 1929 it has rail tracks for the train to transport wool bales and other freight to ships moored at the end and offload cargo fir the East Coast Residents.
