The Shannon is one of Ireland's main natural treasures. Durino its long corsefrom its source in County Cavan to the Atlantic it forms many lakes. One of them is starting at the lock in Termonbarry. The Shannon is unspoilt and great for watersport, also ornithology. Right outside the doorstep
